"I Didn't Hear The Thunder (But I Sure Did Feel The Rain)" did this song ever make it to CD cos would like to get it, but can't find it on ITunes. Please Help :s
Not a country music fan, but never realized Dolly had such an amazing voice, she could sing at my funeral any time. Not to take away from Tammy she also had an amazing voice RIP.
So VERY TOUCHING at the End Where she Adds on I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU Awesome!! I love the Country Diva's of Music. New country music doesn't get it for me I listen to Pop, Dance, Etc.... But ALWAYS will have a place in my Heart for the The FIRST Ladies of country....xoxo
I love Dolly sooo much, of course I've got tons of respect for Tammy...it really is sad when people who inspire others pass away. Thank God for their music which keeps them in our hearts and mind forever...bless their hearts!
Well MusicLovr76...thank you for sharing this amzing memorial for Tammy Wynette. I appreciate your contribution for those of us who couldn't be there. RIP Tammy we love you and your music will continue to grace our radios and thanks to You Tube for prolonging and keeping your legacy alive, by allowing those special fans of yours, who are giving us these vidoes to watch and we thank all of them very much!
Dolly is the Whitney of country music. Dolly was actually a friend of my mothers who died in 1981. All my child hood photos had them both and also jimmy dean. They paved the world with song. its pretty cool to be able to say was at most a tiny person watching the roads of song be paved.
Beautiful memorial!!! I love how the song is in the tone of "Amazing Grace" makes it that much more beautiful! We love and miss you Miss Tammy!!! You will live on in our hearts forever!!
I was about 8 or 9 and my mom won tickets to see Tammy..daddy couldn't go, so mom took me....just about got crushed going up to the stage, but mom said "put your hand on her lap, and when she speaks to you, tell her you're here because you're daddy couldn't make it"...and I did..and as she signed my hand, she said "well darlin' you just tell your daddy I said hello"...we got to go into her bus, amazing, the whole experience, she was so warm and kind. I'm now 43 but I will NEVER forget it....

This is the best memorial I have seen especially, Dolly she sang beautifully. Wish the "actor" Ritchie who was happy to finally join his litle Texas whore wo married him for his ritches. May God seek the revenge> Jesus said "revenge is mine. Tammy we miss you and you'll always shine on. We all love you so very much. You are missed like family to me. I'll always love you and listen to your beautiful voice. GOd bless all who love and do no harm to anyone. Thank you for the posting.
I'm 15 and Tammy Wynette is one of my biggest inspiration I was 3 when she died so it sucs never being able to see her perform live or on an adward show ....,,,, and question do they still sell the DVD of the memorial service ???
Sorry all ov you, I feel this is not the right place to be talking about this, why darken the doorstep of such a heartfulled memorial with such dark thoughts, shame on you that is not the way tammy would have wanted us to think.
George Richie acted so sad, and broken up at the funeral, yet he was ordering womens clothing on Tammy's credit card, the DAY she died, and purchased more stuff for his new 30 year old girlfriend the entire week after Tammy died. Makes you wonder doesn't it? It is also questionable at best, that Richie called his laywers BEFORE he notified Tammy's daughters that she had passed. He had Tammy taken directly to the funeral home and had her embalmed with no autopsy-despite the fact she was only 55.
@macarthur261 - I firmly believe Richie gave her an overdose of pain medication on purpose. He was personally supervising her home meds, and had been ordering synthetic Heroin, and Morphine.Tammy had an actual pump going into her main artery, and Richie was the one pumping in the meds. Tammy's will left out her entire family, and left Richie with everything, including revenue from future record sales. Why would Tammy leave her daughters out of her will? He is a murderer. I hope hes burning in hell
@KLUNKET I AGREE WHOLEHEARTLY with you...TW would NEVER have left her children out of her will...Didn't he marry a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader like 5 months later? That S.O.B. I hope he truly burns in hell and knows the fear TW went thru...Tammy was truly the best...I was watching an interview with TW and the murderer, and it was so fake, you could just see the heart in her eyes....
Tammy is my favorite female singer, I wish she had more songs to share with us, music will always feel the loss of such a soulful voice, her voice was very unique. RIP sweet Tammy
Didn't know she died , I only know her for the song she did with the KLF but thats burned in to my brain forever , a country singer that goes and records a song with a 90s British techno act can only be described as a maverick.
It really broke my heart when Tammy Wynette passed! Dolly Parton spoke so eloquently during the memorial! I still get sad when I think that Tammy is no longer with us!
This is the first time I haved watched this. No one should watch it after 5 shots of Tequlia and 4 Coors Lights. But I did. Can we spell class? it' s spelled Dolly. I am so damn tired of new country that I can' t listen anymore. Taylor is sweet, Darius is charitable, and Zak is an idiot for wearing a wool skull cap in July for image. Only one left is the King. Mr Straight.
It is enduring moments that carry great artist like these the other 364 days a year . They feel , everytime they sing . The soul of country music . comes from nothingest. not greatness .
Tammy had a 20,000 dollar bowl . 20 cents worth of cotton in it . to remember where she came from .
Loretta and Tammy were best friends. There is a Youtube video where Tammy tells Loretta that she was her very best friend. Dolly was great friends as well.
