its really wierd my parents PC have a 1.8 ghz intel processor and i did the cpu test on performance test and on integer math it scored like a 1000-2000 MOps.

haha yeah its just how it is designed.

every cpu made are programmed to work in totally different ways so even though say a old 775 pentium 4 may be older and slower in general its 2D helical shape geometry score may be higher than say a core 2 duo.

its crazy but its how it goes lol

but you run the test at low resolution mine got run at something like 1280 x 1020

Nice I ran it with f@h and bunch of other stuff and i only score 9xx something with all stock clock for everything. I was kinda upset but I will rerun it with no things in background running hoping to beat your score with my rig but now sure its possible.

make sure your preferences are set to 2 for duo 4 quad and 8 i7.

something not wright there especially if you have ran it with the 280gtx

Hey dewd, no video yet, primarily cos I'm playing with adobe premier and after effects cs4 rather than just chucking out a windows movie maker special lol. Anyhow, my latest score was 1740.1 Didn't do any of the tweaks though. Does it really make much impact disabling all the vista fanciness?

well to be fair beating my score wount realy be of hue acheivement. the best score to date is over 4000 i7 etc.

people with raid will whoop scores withought raid in most areas too

Hmmmm, looks interesting, I certainly haven't seen that benchie before, I shall give it a try after my tea :) Oh btw, just so you know the core i7 is 4 cores and 8 hardware threads (since it's a quad core chip with hyperthreading)

yeah it is a great programme.

i found it when i first used it with my quad

if you go edit .....preferences and number of processes to 8 for a i7 4 for core 2 quad etc.

it is best to get v6 due to it is unlimited unlike v6.1 above.
