Yes we believe that our leaders receive direct revelation from god but that does not mean we have a perfect understanding of it. Kind of like when the prophets of old would have visions of our day and be confused about what they saw. Calling airplanes birds and such.

It states in Genesis that we were created in His image and that we are His children. It states in Genesis that we were created in His image and that we are His children. Within this sphere of creation everything matures to become as its parent and so we have the opportunity to become as God is through obedience to the guidelines He has set.. Jesus is the Word of God, the Creator of all things in heaven and earth, seen and unseen. Who being in the form of God did not think it robbery to be equal with God; He became a servant in the likeness of men. Why? To exalt and glorify men? No! It was to have every tounge confess that Jesus Christ (is) Lord to glory of God the Father.

xiomi78....wow...don't let the false statements in the video fool you. The dark skin curse happened to the Lamanites in the Book of Mormon. LDS do not believe that when God curses a people, a black skin is always the result. And, by the way, it's spelled MormOn, not MormAn.

Accept Jesus Christ as your savior and you can enter the kingdom of God. In the bible it clearly states that people will cry to God at the end of days saying " But God we preached your word and did miracles in your name and praised you." And God will reply "I do not know you now turn away." Mormon is a man centered religion taking away the power of Jesus and replacing it with a man.

The only trouble with this "quote" is that the J of D is not, as a body of work, official LDS doctrine. Never has been and never will be. Brigham Young knew that God the Father and Adam, husband of Eve, were not one and the same person. So do all LDS know that. The statement was most likely misquoted during the transcribing process.

I'd be curious to see the quote stating that Eve was one of Elohim's wives. I'd also like the quote stating that Joseph Smith was descended from Jesus Christ, also the statement that Joseph Smith has done more for us than any other man including Jesus Christ. Thanks a bunch.

Yes, I have neighbours who live close and they are JW's. This caroon shows the truth behind their Organisation. they can't go against the LDS Organisation at all in any area. they are brain washed 5 nights a week to explain their religion. Very sad!!!!
