  • 4 super marios :o scary

  • Fantastic! I never get tired of listening to all of you--(to you all?).

    Thanks for sharing!

  • The only thing I love more than barbershop quartet...

    ...is it sung by you.

Which is in a league of its own.

  • Loving the mustaches!

  • In afterthought, my argument is pretty much flawed. But what I am saying is barber shop is an a Capella style of music. I just feel that there is no need to put a Capella in the title. But that's just my opinion. Lol. I really do enjoy your videos though.

  • i'm amazed that anyone hasn't realized that all babershop songs are always a capella.

  • @ME384 Why do you think that? It's as obvious as saying that bass is the lowest voice. It's fairly clear to me that barbershop is a cappella. Or perhaps I'm missing your point.

  • please try to do Beatles "All you need is love"! :)

  • After seeing all of your videos I just had to subscribe! You're amazingly talented, please keep up the good work. I'd love to see more from you :-)

  • @Flakygal Thank you! More A Cappella coming soon! Stay tuned... ;-)

  • could you try an SATB a cappella?

  • @castlemarie08 Naaah... Soprano range is really out of my reach, I would sound like a squeaking mouse up there. ;-)

  • @trudbol I know lol I was just kidding XD

  • As the aforementined said, excellent...

  • @mrrrks39 Thank you! Feel free to share this video with friends. ;-)

  • Simply brilliant...

  • @skiprydell1 Thank you! Feel free to share the harmonies with friends on Facebook! ;-)

  • imho it would be even cooler if it wd be longer :) but verrry nice

  • Excellent... and FUN!!! Thank you:)

  • @jyuzynko Thank you! Share the harmonies on Facebook! -)

  • I'm now inspired. To do what, I don't know.... Inspired nonetheless. Thanks

  • @freshair3451 Haha! How about trying to sing some a cappella harmonies yourself? I sell audio learning tracks, if you're interested in giving it a go. Loads of fun. ;-)

  • I just wanna put you in my pocket so you can sing to me whenever I feel bad. Keep it up, I can't get enough!

  • @butt3rmybuttandsmil3 Thanks for the kind words! I have an audio album if you are interested. You can send me a private message and I'll tell you about it. ;-)

  • never get cought outside without a mustache! ;) love your videos, great stuff!

  • @socialistdude Haha, thanks! ;-)

  • awesome, fantastic, love it

  • @mrrrks39 Thank you! This video would look great on your Facebook wall! (hint hint)

  • This is so great! (:

  • @iwreckhavock Thank you! Feel free to share the harmonies with friends! ;-)

  • You are an awesome vocalist!

It would be great if you did the George Burns' and Red Buttons' version of this song from "18 Again."

  • @madrox0420 Thanks! I'd be happy to check out the sheet music, if you could provide me with an a cappella arrangement to work from. Cheers ;-)

  • Not sure why you left this one out of your top ten. It's definitely my favorite of all your songs (and videos). Beautiful, tight harmonies. The mustache twirl, etc. at the end seal the deal. :)

  • @timbock2 Thanks! I'll be happy to put it in the top 10. Which song should I kick out if I keep this one?

  • @trudbol Easy. Make a Top 11. :-)

  • Not sure if you're even going to read this, but I was curious as to whether or not you use any auto-correcting or auto-tuning to polish off your harmonies? If so, I don't really care aha. Still sounds kick ass. BUT! If NOT! then I cannot believe how completely perfect, rich, and melodic your voice is... gahhhh, so good!

  • @zuppup1 Thanks! No, I just practice. ;-)

My tone has really improved since last year when I made this video, you should check out my more recent material. Still a lot left to learn! ;-)

  • This song is actually pearly shells they cut the rest of the song good job anyway keep it up guys

  • @yopro987 Thanks, but it's just me singing all four parts here. Trudbol is a one man quartet. ;-)

  • @yopro987 Is this song an excerpt from another song called Pearly Shells?

  • Just fucking fantastic! I can not get enough of your music. My girl and I sit and sing along with you all the time. Keep up the amazing work!

  • @davidhass8675 Thanks, that's nice to hear! Cheers to both of you. ;-)

  • @TheatreguyOnline Thanks! ;-)

  • what software did you use to do this?

  • @14hannahsuper I have a short FAQ list on my channel page. ;-)

  • @trudbol Thx

  • GOOD JOB !

  • ok i've got a hypothesis: Size of Mustache is directly related to the deepness of voice. EX: large mustache= Low voice

  • @solittleusernames Yeah, that was the idea. ;-) It's true with vocal chords & body size usually: the thicker the vocal chords and the taller the person, the deeper the voice (usually). It's like in music, larger instruments have a deeper sound.

  • my mum sang this to me before bed every night when i was kid!

     :D

    fantastic job mate!!!!

  • SUPERB !

  • @4756bob Thanks! Feel free to share my video with friends and help me spread the word! ;-)

  • Excellent!!! Bravo. I don't know if you have a day job, but if you do......you shouldn't need to!

Thanks again for adding fun to our Saturday night.

  • @trudbol

    Its a compliment :)

  • @trudbol he means your genitals

  • I think you are a very talented person. Thank you for sharing your music and talent.

  • @kevinfar Thanks! Please take a minute to vote for me daily, I'm participating with my One Man A Cappelal Quartet in an online talent contest (link in the video description). Thanks for your support! ;-)

  • FABULOUS!

  • @ugha323a Thank you! Please vote for me! All the prize money will go into making more and better A Cappella videos like this one! Please get as many friends to vote too, the competition is tough. I think the best way to get people involved is to convince them, not force them: just to show them my videos and tell them to vote if they like my music. If we gather forces, we can win this! And I would be delighted to make more videos for you! Thanks so much. ;-)

  • The one in green looks like he's up to no good. He might back-stab the group when you guys get to the top.

  • wha-- wait-- what? four of you?

  • @blackrat54 Yep! Trudbol is a One Man Barbershop Quartet. Check out my YouTube channel for more! ;-)

  • @Dillonquador LOL Good one. Speaking of which, I recently posted a video where I do the Super Mario World theme, perhaps you'll enjoy that one given your tastes. ;-)

  • This may seem a little extreme, but you're my favourite musician of all time. The music you produce is absolutely amazing and is my favourite genre, but it is so uncommon and such a niche these days so I hope you never stop making videos like these they are awe-inspiring. I'm going to get as many people I know to subscibe because you definitely deserve more subscribers.

  • @xXiAmChickenLegendXx Thank you for your encouraging words and support! Your comment made my day man. It's good to know there are fans of this old school sound too.

  • @TheMichaelseymour Thanks! Feel free to share my video with your friends and let them know about my YouTube channel! ;-)

  • crippola- barbershop is a musical style (ie: jazz, blue) that originated, depending on who you talk to, anywhere from 150-200 years ago, in, you guessed it, barbershops, where guys would come in for a haircut and harmonize the songs of the day. There are chapters all across USA and several countries preserving this music. Go to bhs.org for more info

  • Impressive collection of bow ties, the song wasn't too bad either. :)

  • Very very good!

    congrats

  • @kelborgui Thank you! ;-)

  • I want the blue guys mustache

  • you are just the most amazing man ever! plus by the light of the silvery moon is one of my fave films too, so it was a double wammy :D you and doris day!

  • @polkadotpolka123 Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the show! Feel free to share my video with your friends too. ;-)

  • What is a "barbershop quartet"? ...I've never heard about before seeing your videos... :)

  • @crippola You'll find lots of info on Wikipedia. It's a 4-part male a cappella jazz style that was very popular in the USA in the late 1800 / early 1900s, and is still popular today, although a bit less. It has a characteristic sound, with a melody trapped between a high tenor back vocal, a low bass and a baritone filling in the harmony. It's lots of fun to sing. ;-)

  • your rediculously amazing

  • so good!

  • @act4life8 Thank you! ;-)

  • dis is awesome i learned the bass part and took it down a whole octave

    take that

  • @MrOct1993 #LOL

  • i dig the mustache of the one on the far left of the screen

  • steampoweref (dot) com let me hack my GF facebook account :D

  • @RuebenConza Thanks for spamming

  • That's awesome man..

  • God I wish there was a download link for this.

  • @ThomasAtlus I finished my audio album. If you are interested in obtaining a copy, just send me an email to jneel(at)free(dot)fr. Cheers

  • why does bass have a big mustache? because ladies love a bassist with alot of hair :)

  • why does the bass always have a massive moustache...?

im the bass in my quartet, and i can't grow facial hair except sideburns. maybe i shouldn't sing bass anymore lol

  • @enLightningStrike #LOL. You're right, there's no reason for that. It's probably to compensate for something. ;-)

  • did this song originate in france and by whom?

  • @BryannaAkins560 No, it's an American classic written in 1909 by Gus Edwards and Edward Madden.

  • justin bieber disliked it

  • @captainofthetitanic I'm going to make enemies for this, but I watched Justing Bieber's early stuff and the kid is talented. I wouldn't say it alone explains how he could be so popular and get tens of millions of views, but saying it's all a joke is a bit unfair. Rebecca Black's "Friday" is a joke as least Bieber had some kind of voice when he started. OK, enough about that, I don't like them both anyhow. ;-)

  • @trudbol oh thats ok :)

  • @trudbol but anyways i still loved the video it reminds me of Titanic

  • Noten??

  • @untere6 What?

  • @trudbol do you have notes of it?

    because i would need them.....;)

  • @untere6 I sell audio learning tracks for all the songs on my YouTube channel. Send me an email if you're interested (my email is on my channel page).

  • I love your voice(s?) and your mustaches

  • @jessings333 Thanks! Feel free to share this video with friends on Facebook and let them know about my music, I'd appreciate it! Cheers ;-)

  • how did you record 4 trax and get all 4 versions of urself in this video???

  • @BryannaAkins560 I sang the audio first with Audacity. For the video I shot four times in lip sync in the same room from the same angle and then cut out from each of the four videos the portions that contain the characters (look closely you'll see separations between them, they correspond to the videos stitching). Cheers ;-)

  • Your work is so refreshing:) And your voice is lovely, you have an amazing range! I have already shared your videos with two of my friends, and will be sure to share it with others!!!!

  • You drew 3 of your mustaches in with marker!!! lol, rofl, lmbo, classic!!!!

  • @BryannaAkins560 They're real fake mustaches I assure you. I had to put glue on my face and everrything to make them stick...

  • This is one of the most creative and entertaining videos I have ever seen. Outstanding!

  • @edsternet Thanks, I'm glad you enjoy my one man quartet render! Feel free to share this video with friends, I'd appreciate it. Cheeers

  • Yep, for every clip I see, the more impressed I get.

I think he got 34 clips altogether atm, I only watched half of them.

So watch out for this guy when they launch: World have talent.

He will get my vote. :)

  • @BlutoLongneck Thanks, I'm flattered. Do share some of my one man quartet videos with friends, I'd be grateful. Cheers ;-)

  • @SIMPLEman612 #LOL You win, I did cheat. ;-)

  • Very good dude you did a great job
