  • perfect pitch is a very cool thing to have. There is a secret to it. If you'd like to know what it is, message me!!

  • the one at 0:48 is h and not e. when you dont belive me go to the piano and press h and listen to the sound in the computer

    thumbs up if you agree

  • Hey man just checked your software out, I like the layout easy to use, u could make it a really pro program but im guessing your gona do that as ur pitch gets better? Btw as a heads up when learning the black keys g sharp is the note most people have troubles with lol, good luck

  • @SousukePanic

    thanks for your comment

I have since then developed the software further and it is now much better than the version posted in this video

  • @SousukePanic

ah and btw , g# became just my favorite note, because when i hear it i know i am getting an easy point, lol

  • @sabonzo haha, so how far along with your ear have you come? , also do u have a new version of your program available for download since im still using the old one every so often

  • @SousukePanic

well here is a newer version music.berativ.com/downloads/midi_dev.zip

but it is still under development, so no critic for bugs please, because i know them. Simply when it crashes, close it and re-open it :) and it is so easy that u can figure out alone how to use it, and if u have a problem just shout :D

  • @sabonzo

thanks :) thats exactly the sort of program i was looking for, i even used to do the same excersises on my keyboard before i downloaded this haha, tell me once you got all the bugs sorted so i can dl a newer version :D

  • Good work so far :D

    And good luck!

    And thanks for the video.

  • So the random notes are to help people to not use relative pitch? Does it help you? Because I could still remember the previous note even after the random notes played.

  • hi,

in real time this quiz took long time. After each question i paused many minutes to hear the tones, but in order to publish it, i had to make it appear happened in 3 minutes. The random pitches are played before the tone in question, after a long pause after each question, and watching tv, and distracting yourself, the tool is still helpfull for beginners to track their progress. There is no timer to hurry up, Also remember the first tone has no reference at all, and is absolutely random.

  • i also noticed, that you learned perfect pitch. I am still in the struggle with it, so i don't consider myself advanced yet,

But I believe that I can learn it. I am making good progress and I am happy with it. I develop software to help in this field, and in the field of relative pitch
