Armchair graders crack me up - its hard enough to grade something you CAN climb. Most grades take a few years to settle in anyway. I've been climbing for over 20 years and have seen many "world's hardest" come and go, yet the debate never changes. Nationalism and perception of what 'counts' play a greater part than actual experience it seems. The one constant is that those capable of climbing at the top level spend more energy climbing than grading... get out there and send!

I don't believe that there is any true v16 out there yet. There are some true v15's out there, such as the mandala.

It's not really confirmed. There wasn't a move on the climb which was V16, the hardest was V15. But due to the ridiculous length it was given the grade of V16 when many feel that a route grade is more appropriate.

"The game" was given the grade of V16 because it's incredibly difficult, not because it's incredibly long and so I feel is a true V16.

I've climbed with Chris as well, he's a great guy but not a v16 climber in my opinion.
