Connecting a PC to Your HDTV

The only reason I would do this is to use Linux Ubuntu OS "Moovida Media Center" that would be cool ... and maybe for playing games with my X-box controller that has a UBS that will plug into my PC...

Hi.can anyone help me out. im having a LG HDTV LF15 series and im trying to connect my pc through VGA cable but im having a problem. i cant get an input option through my menu in TV so i cant select the PC/VGA input option..there is a VGA cable support in my TV and ive read the booklet to make sure i can connect my pc to it too but were the hell PC input option has gone from the menu?? plz plz plz plz do help me

my hdtv uses vga not dvi

VGA port works with most modern TV's and looks just as good 90% of the time.

@ScorchinBeats correction: 100% if ur HDTV or HD monitor supports automatic pixel to pixel calibration, and i havent seen when they dont.
