At this point in my signing career, I had just gone to a school that really wasn't known for signing, and leaned sign from websites online. The newer stuff, 2011 and on, is me doing stuff after going to the third best interpreting school in the country. I get more conceptually accurate the newer the videos are.

Just the interpretation I took form the song, thought the miss to be like you miss a person. Kinda took it as they weren't together, and he doesn't miss her. Curse you interpretation! lol

I never thought of "every hit we take" to be how you interpreted it. Hm, I thought it was a little funny because it's not the mainstream that people think of "hit"

Anyway, the only thing that I saw was that you signed "make" I don't think the concept works in this case. Other than that, it was not in ASL grammar and more so in English, but this is your interpretation. I must say, it was very entertaining though. Good facial expressions and getting into character.

Hi! I'm an ASL student...I'm so into ASL I'm learning to sign all my favorite songs. I learned this one a while ago with ASL dictionaries and my ASL teacher's help. But I didn't know there was a sign for "about"! Thank you! P.S. Are you deaf, hard of hearing, or hearing?

i don't know why but when i was watching this vid i was simileing and laughting the whole way trying to mimic you . You do it very and your face expression match especially during the climax "I hate everything-" strenching your neck and showing your teeth lol made me laugh

thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Actually, i'm not completely fluent; I've had one full year of formal training, and about 5 months of me just studying on my own. Would have another 1.5 of formal training to complete, but due to school constraints, I'm not able to.

This is great! The emotion is there. I don't think it's necessary to sign "do." When you sign "why do I love you?" I think its better to sign "me love you why?" in question format. Other than that, good job!

normally, if you check out my other videos, if there is a long guitar solo, which seems to be a trend for most of my videos for some reason (really not planned), I usually do sign that there is guitar music going.

when signing this one, I guess I didn't feel it was long enough of a break to let the view know what was going on. really not sure why i didn't do it. hmm...
