  • Take that airbus

  • and the poor people who have to sit next to them?poor

  • I REPEAT THE BOEING 787 DREAMLINER IS GOING DOWN!

Passenger: "Okay kids, get your parachutes on were skydiving!"

  • Why cant they just make first class seats for eveyone and still have alot of space on the plane

  • And the seats are still painfully uncomfortable.

  • I knew a guy who was in the test team of this plane, he boasted one day, "mate, guess what, I am probably the first person to masturbate in 787", I calmly replied ' you are moron....boeing people are wise people who test every thing possible, they have already tested and simulted that to make the aircraft as safe as possible, this test was officially performed by Chuck Norris on behalf of Boeing in area 86 boeing development facility.

  • i do not work for boeing i know some one who work for Airbuss, and they will not be in compitition with them they will hopefully be very sucessfull in their product right now and its a fab air craft both techniqually and well designed - of course Airbuss also has the new latest aircraft in which iam not allowed to state at this time but its too will resemble on how economy seating will change dramatically once they launch the new airbuss aircraft ! so exciting

  • its so untrue - dreamlines is much better for companies to make a profit what you saying man!!!! flying an a380 with 500 people on a 8 hour flight just when an a380 can fly for 23 hours around the world taking more than a thousand passengers - no company would do that its crazy your wrong - the dreamliner is in a different market to the a380 all togeather the only compitiotion is boeing vs airbuss yes i will agree but not these persific air line modules

  • the last comment that was made was very rude and un true - the dreamliner will be a huge sucess in the way they market airline travel - for example who will want to fly on an 8hour flight to the caribbean with just 400 people on an 900+ seater aircraft - unthinkabe - unprofitalbe and no sence of wait distribution !!! the dream liner will suit holiday companies eg thomson & hopfully thomas cook jet2 and first choice instead of sole aircompanies like BA, VAA, AA Easy jet Ryan air BMI

  • The new 787 is a big flying piece of crap.

Time of america leading in airplane technology is over since A380.

And in some weeks the usa will see how India orders the eurofighter. They already kicked the F-16 and Boeing Super Hornet out of the competition.

America is losing has lost dominance in all parts of economy. People lose their houses, the dollar is as valuable as the paper the money is printed on.

It's time to say good bye us and a! ;-)

  • @balboa62 have there been so many problems with this model then?

  • @sanfran91 not many considering that it's an entirely new aircraft using entirely new construction materials & techniques. Boeing is inventing an entirely new type of commercial aircraft, which if successful will revolutionize Commercial air transport.

  • @kdraper2007 Using carbon composite material wasn't something new in aviation and using them would be higher risk. The problem is, neither Boeing or Airbus fully understand the characteristics of carbon composite and still hasn't develop a reliable method to detect stress and tear on new planes. If something abnormalities happen on carbon composite fuselage, production would halt and a severe damage to company PR. That's all.

  • What a beautiful plane. I would love to one day fly it.

  • Yeah, well EADS doesn't like it, obviously... Look at their comments here.

I can hardly wait to get my hands on the controls. If it ain't Boeing, I ain't going! You go Seattle!

You can beat the Euro trash subsidized EADS!

You guys talk the talk. But can You walk the walk?

    Time will tell...

  • Rolls Royce engines. Hmmm.... I might just skip flying with Thomson for a while ;) Wonder how much flying on that would cost =S

  • That's all fine but, will it blend?

  • OK, lets outsource this American innovation to the rest of the world. Japan gets blasted by China we have no wings, you know where I am going. This thing is nothing but a flying speedboat (Fiberglass hull with Carbon fiber strands) They are way over designing this spaceship. Bring back Mulally so this thing can actually fly. My god it's been three years since it was supposed to be delivered. The US government must be involved, no other explanation is plausible.

  • I thought that the entrance was supposed to be 'open'

    that didn't happen at 0:54 ...

  • Whats so dang good about this plane, is you can recycle it, just like Micheal Jackson.

  • Wider isles and seats than any other aircraft? That's an interesting comment. How do you put wider isles and seats in an aircraft that is narrower than a 777. Continental Airlines 777's are configured exactly the same as the aircraft in this video. Nine seats across. How do you make the seats wider and the isles wider in an aircraft that is narrower? Stop drinking the Cool aid and think for a minute. ANA started with that seat configuration and other airlines followed.

  • @nosaltadded I'm guessing it's based on standard configurations. The 787 is offered with 8 or 9 as standard. The standard configuration for the 777 is 10 across same as the 747, but most airlines do operate it with the 9 across option.

  • @nosaltadded different configurations

  • Nothing, Boeing is overdoing the 787 hype, they should focus more on marketing the larger 777.

  • @gregtube111 Why? The 777 is already a proven, and successful aircraft. The 787 is their new toy, and is obviously the one they're going to push the most. Plus, most airlines are looking to replace their ageing 767 and 757 aircraft not add more seats to their fleet. The new 787 and 737NG meet those needs!

  • @gregtube111 well the 787 is the fastest selling ac ever

  • Prius of th skies :P

  • Larger windows.........so when the window pops out and the plane decompresses.....ALL the passengers and their crap will get sucked out, thus enabling the plane to be ready for the next group of passengers upon landing. No time consuming disembarking or messy cleanup.......Simple!

  • Best plane xD

  • Its... Ok... But it needs more cowbell.

  • @Danza3443 HAHAHAHA WOW THAT JUST MADE MY DAY! where you from? Tampa? Rays=cowbell!

  • @Danza3443 cow bell?

  • Hope those windows don't get blown out..

awesome to have beds on a plane...makes it easier to have sex.

that oxygen thing is amazing though.

  • @GravDiga LOL!!!!!

  • @GravDiga The hollywood movies always exaggerate the force of decompression.
