@DubbcMF If you have a PC, I'm not sure. You can look into relatively cheap options like FCP Express. If you have a Mac, it comes with the free iMovie software which is much more robust than Flip Video and easy to use. If you're looking to do a lot of video editing, it'll be worth the money to invest in an actual editing program.
@DubbcMF Unfortunately no. The default transition is simply the fade. One of the downsides to the program. It's definitely not a robust editing software system.
@TheBeckyOfficial When you put all the clips in order and then export, it will put them all together into one big movie with transitions between the clips.
@thelaghers1 You could save the original as two different clips, thereby cutting out the part in the middle that you don't want. Flip is relatively limited -- mainly used to trim the head and tail of a clip leaving the middle intact. But if you create two new clips from one longer clip, you could then arrange them together.
@chokeslam427 What type of laptop - PC or Mac? You may have to double-click the icon to the drive and then run the software manually if it doesn't open up immediately upon inserting it into the USB port. Have you ever used it on that computer before? Can you test it on another computer to make sure that the problem isn't in the camera itself?
hey dude lets say ur making a nerv movie do u keep doing that over and over again until u get it and also if you wanna make a lego stop motion can it take pics to do that?
@bladebreaker10 Not sure what you mean about a "nerv" movie. To be honest, Flip Video editing is quite limited. I wouldn't use it for anything as edit-heavy as a lego stop motion video. You'll want a still camera for that and a more powerful editing program -- like Final Cut Pro -- for that. Flip Video is more for quick, easy videos where you have to do minimally cutting.
very helpful... thanks bud.
