Alot of people like the thrill of shredding, i do. I also like slow solo's with a little feeling though. It all depends, I think rusty is just someone who wants to shred more than anything else. Which is cool, hes good at it lol.

I can appreciate shred in its own right, but it's when you've got stuff like scarified or anything by jason becker where it's so musical at the same time....that's the good shit
