I find it odd that the relaxation CD's have to be bought/found over and over again!
I wonder what it plays.... Waterfalls, birds singing, deer yelling, lullabys.... Still, I think 1 CD should be enough when it was to be designed as an item....
how did he....become 50 feet taller and survive being burned again....oh yea and i called it i was making fun of how he says jimmy all the time then i said hes gonna be fucking huge
No, it's an exploit. Every single time that you check your map, any enemy in your vicinity stops moving for a few seconds. This allows me to safely bypass corners and intersections, as I might otherwise be risking an encounter.
You'll notice that I do it most often when near an enemy or when I'm approaching a corner or intersection. It saves time, believe it or not.
Cool trick man, how in the world did you ever discover that? I never even noticed that he stood still after the menu screen was accessed. I remember it took me so long to figure out how to beat him in his giant form, until I noticed that the dodge was actually a "no hit detection" move.
Honestly, I got it from Tom Servo's walkthrough on GameFAQs. It's an excellent guide. Before playing the game, I tend to recommend that people consult a walkthrough, and that's why I made this particularly one, as it's an excellent demonstration as to how the game should be played. The in-game tutorial is really lacking, so learning by watching somebody else play is really the best way to learn, in my opinion.
And yeah, the dodge move is an absolutely must, although it still comes with consequences, since it increases your pulse. Illbleed does a phenominal job of balancing all of your abilities. There really isn't a single ability in the game that feels as though it's over-powered, because you're always vulnerable.
i really hated how banbollow "warps" from one place to another in that labyrinth of hallways. I never knew that using the map can slow him down/make him pause.
later jumping from raft to raft was the worst, trying to avoid banbollows swipes
and sometimes i think she was saying -shoo- but it might sound like -chu- also :/
Yeah, you'll notice that I use the same trick against the Woodcutters in level three. It's much more difficult to keep them at bay, though. Banbollow's just annoying because, as you said, he freaking warps all over the place.
yeah there is a trick to avoiding banballow all together, if you keep on looking back at the map, it momnetarally stuns him allowing you to get away, just like kubevubin is doing right now
watch shadowleggy's montage rumbles. there is a hidden 3rd option, see all the falling scenes up till you fight nemmy on the bridge and "fall like usual" will show up. note: I'M KIDDING! THERE IS NO THIRD OPTION! oh one timei walked into the room to see my mom get tossed/pushed off the bridge by nemmy.
I plan on doing a full walkthrough, of course. The more time-consuming part is the video editing, as I haven't really gotten used to Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum just yet. (I'm more experienced with Adobe Premiere, which I don't have.)

Everytime you dodge in the water (I assume that's what she's doing), it sounds like she's saying "Chu!" and makes me think of Space Channel 5 bah.

Your checking the map in time with the music is really funny to me for some reason
DUN DUN DUN *map*
Kastatic 2 years ago 11
I was actually only checking the map because it causes enemies to freeze for a few seconds when you do it. I normally do that as I round a corner.
kubevubin 2 years ago
Yeah that's true.
It was just in perfect time with the music though lol

how come you have to keep reviewing your map? I don't mean this as disrespectful, but I don't understand? Are certain doors traps?

Here's a little tip when running through these tunnels. Everytime you press pause and exit out. Bungalow will freeze in place for a few seconds.
