If you have your sound driver set to Asio on FL, then Camstudio can't record it because it uses your primary sound driver. :)

Sadly I can't with the software I use. I've been trying to configure it to be able to have audio during the video, but i've had no lucky so far because i have no time to look into it :P

Gross Beat is included FL Studio, you can apply it to a mixer channel and it has a very good built in sidechain/other volume gating.

how are you bending the notes like that to make it sound exactly like warp 1.9? cuz the final sound from your tutorial obviously isn't the only thing you have to do to achieve that exact sound... yeah it bends a little but not like your final clip... what else do i gotta do? thanks!

another thing thats a little off subject, when i made your hoover synth, i couldnt get anything but the high notes to soud good. id lke to use a deeper tone for the darker feel, but when i hit the low notes its all fuzzy and its painful to the ears. any suggestions?

yessss do a sidechain tutorial. i used to use the peak controller along with stereo enhancer, but if theres a better way id love to know

To be honest, that is pretty much the best way. There are some other ways using a compressor (similar to peak controller), and just volume automation, but all three lead you to the same end result.

Incoming noob question: When the drop comes, how do you get the hoover synth sound to "pulse" (if you know what i mean), like it kind of fades in and out along with the drum beat as opposed to being just a flat sound with regular volume all the way through. I realize my question might be confusing so if you dont know what i'm talking about its fine lol. Great tutorials though!

Hey there, i've subscribed cause you do amazing tutorials and i like how you actually briefly explain it, then explain it further when processing the synths :) You did ask for requests and frankly i am dying to request a synth.. Its the Scream/Screech/Siren sound in Skrillex - Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites 0:42 (after his first growl) it is sorta similar to Doctor P - Big Boss 0:56 :D but i like Skrillex's better, it's like a car doing skids lol
