Why would april, may and june get billing over huey, dewey and louie ("many others..."), the nephews who are the crux of so many of cb's stories? That's just weird.
@akhicks Sorry, I know this post is old. But, I thought you might like to have things cleared up anyway. Carl Barks didn't create Huey, Dewey and Louie. Al Taliaferro did. But, Barks was the one who turned them from mostly brats into Junior Woodchucks which is why their picture appears in scout uniform.
His influence on Donald as a character and the whole universe he created around him made him one of the greatest comic book artists of the 20th century. And his legacy still lives on :)
Carl is my favorite Duck artist. He was a true legend and his work is enjoyed even today. I love reading Dinsey comics but I especially love reading comics about the Disney Ducks. Don Rosa's work on the Ducks are good too. From what I heard, he was influenced by Carl's work.
