  • I love '' Pop'' . My second favorite U2 album, behind '' Achtung Baby''. My favorite song on this is ''Gone''.

  • NLOTH isn't my favorite either but it has some moments and keeps growing in likeability. It will probably be really great over time over several listens, which is a relief listening to a lot of albums recently which suck more over time! that didn't have NLOTH, Magnificent or Moment of Surrender.

  • Pop was the last good album U2 made. I'm stunned at the decreasing quality of the band's work since then :/

  • i totally agree with u, its teh last time the band has put music out that feels true to me

  • genius

  • I really don't care about critics, PoP is special album and one of a kind which cannot be boring anytime you listen to it.

We want some new U2 album who will suprise us and make us excited, just like POP.

My favorite and first time seeing them live at PopMart.

    Viva PoP Viva!

  • I love the Pop album as well. I think it is so underated by many.

  • I think that too, but the new album is.... by far not my favourite! :P

  • On the new album ... it's not exactly my favourite either although I love the song Magnificent. Maybe some of the other songs will grow on me :)

  • @DaniMoFo I agree, its a genius album, terribly underrated but not nessecarily by critics, reviews at the time and recent retrospectives are 95% positive across the board, even NME loved it! The main reason POP has a bit of a "bad reputation" is the FANS who wanted them to do another Joshua Tree, to keep making the same old music over again and never experiment.

  • U2 in the 90s has been my favourite era of their still successful career.

A band to reinvent themselves in this way after The Joshua Tree, and win, and then continue afterwards deserve the rock legendary status.

  • this was my favorite period of u2 i have loved tem from the Boy days but still POP really got me excited and that album is so strong my god it still blows me away.

  • from mofo to deadman, it was natural for these guys to do PoP, no need to be defensive. we luv

  • Wow pretty colours lol thanks for putting this up

  • What a great album! People who ripp it dont get U2 lol

  • It really is a great album- I can't understand why it got so much bad press :( Discothéque, Staring At The Sun and If God Would Send His Angels are awesome songs which go up there with more well known stuff.

U2 are unique, they are different, they are the best :)

  • I dunno, while I think folks are too hard on it, I still think its pretty underealized. Even the best stuff seemed like a poormans ZooTv.

  • Thanks for sharing
