That looks amazing, I know this slightly off topic to this post but I'm wanting to know if I can do similar thing but on a 22inch LCD tv? My iPod is a 3g touch 3.1.2 fw which has not been jail broke as I guess it's still a tethered jb at the moment. If anyone could let me know if it can be done without jail break on a 3g touch I would be very grateful…thanks guys!

hi mate, i have the same car as you, with the rnse and a aftermarket digital tv, soon getting a ipod touch, so my question is... do i just need that cable to make it work on my rnse? and if i tilt the ipod will it show tilted on the rnse? or do i need to do something to make it go in landscape? cheers mate

Just a composite AV cable. Aftermarket ones will do, you can use a new Cydia package called Resupported or something to enable full support for the non-genuine cable

I have an in-dash screen with a similar size to yours, it's a 6.1 inch Pioneer. I can't seem to get the touch screen calibration correct after updating to 1.80... Video settings are as follows:

Screen Position, H: 191, V: -15.

Screen Size H: 1.39, V: 1.145

Any help would be greatly appreciated - this is one of the best on Cydia!!!

I tweaked the values to get it perfect.

Now I have

SP: H:102 V: -18

SS: H: 1.39, V: 1.1

The only parts not registering correctly are the top and bottom of the screen while in landscape. Touches on the very bottom register off-screen, touches on the very top register slightly above the middle.

I still can't get apps like NBA League Pass or CBS College Football to show video - displays menu video controls only. I tried changing video layers to no avail. Any ideas?

You need to decrease the Vertical Touch Position (maybe into negative numbers). This will gradually make touches register higher on the screen.

After you get touches registering at the top of the screen properly, you can play with the Vertical Touch Size to make touches register higher or lower, just like screen size

ok i'm using this and its amazing, but main reason downloaded it was for the NBA league pass works great but when i play the game instead of it rotating its side ways meaning the game is being played at a 90 degree angle not like it normally should. Any ideas??? i would appreciate it thank you

Are you using v1.8?

if not, sounds silly, but go to Settings, TV Out, scroll down to orientation and select Landscape again.

Actually I'm a toolshed... "Landscape TV Out" I downloaded it from Cydia and it works GREAT!!!! Works perfectly with my slingplayer mobil. Thank you so much. Everyone donate a few bucks to this guy. He deserves it!!

I use a Kufatec IMA Basic to get a composite video input. I also have a video-in-motion hack applied (else video cuts off above 5km/h).

I also happen to have a digital TV tuner installed, with the iPod cable plugging into the AUX video input of that.
