filipinos play with a very loose backarm and wrist.the amount of spin and power the cueball will generate depends on the speed that a player cues through,not the amount of power they punch.with a loose backarm and wrist,it makes cueing more smooth,makes it easier to vary their speed and makes everything look so effortless.

the stroke is not extra ordinary for filipinos. most filipino players have the same stroke. i think bustamante is the most extreme in this kind of soft bouncing stroke. thanks for the video though

It may not be but somehow Efren gets the cueball to do wild things so effortlessly.
