i absolutely love joni's version but once i found out tori covered it, come on' ya gotta show some favortism. tori's emotion is other worldly. she's one of the few artists who can do a cover justice
Not too bad, but too much affectation in the vocal. It's brave to try this Joni Mitchell song ( which is maybe her best) but Prince and Diana Krall come closest to the perfection of the original on the Blue album. After 40 years, there really isn't anyone who comes close to the sincerity and pain of the original.
I love Tori, but no one does this better than Joni
