  • russians are good at flyying and shooting"fpsrussia"

  • Who makes the best pilots? ...Fucking humans do!

  • Same old, same old. Blue Angels do this stuff at every airshow. Then again U.S. technology is 20+ years ahead of Russia hahaha

  • what iz the name of the muzik plz ?

  • I'm sure if you put a maximum effort into this you could make the music a little gayer

  • i was sad not to see them for 50th anniversary of the french patrouille de france...

  • Rest in peace Igor

  • Besides the normal Su-27s, I'd like to see their Su-35 fly once a while.

  • pros!

  • anyone knows the snog?

  • Man, I know how trying to fly like that feels from flight sims, jerking around the stick like that... It doesn't feel graceful at ALL, but looks so beautiful.

I only know from silly video games how tough even THAT is. I can't imagine the difficulty in real life!

  • AMAZING PILOTS !!!!!!!

  • Does anybody know the name of the song?

  • Oops, I mean Knights! Sorry about that.

  • Awesome video! The Russian Swifts rock!!

  • R.I.P Igot Tkachenko

16/08/09 Died commander "Russian Knights" Tkachenko Igor V..

  • What;s the name of the song?

  • to bad the snowbirds are better....

  • SU-27 looks really awesome. However there avionics are outdated compare to US new jets like F-18 especially F-22 and F-35. But 27s still kick ass!

  • The russian knights use the oldest verion of su-27, the same as blue angels use the oldest verion of F/A-18A..state of the art avionics is not needed to do aerobatics...If you look in google a bit you can look the avionics of the latests versions of su-27...look for example the cockpits of su-35, su-30MKI...all with enormous LCD color displays and the latest technology.

  • I don't look at google.. i'm an integrated avionics specialist specially boeing jets. yes advanced avionics are not needed on aerobatics but the way a cockpit look doesn't determine the technology of the avionics nor survivability/supremacy in combat. Its all bout the specs, functions and complexity of LRUs integrated on an avionic system. New Cessna cockpits with massive MFDs looks better than old B-52H's, but it doesn't mean its more advanced! I agree, newer SU's are really advanced.

  • Ok. You have a nice Job!!! :-)

  • Thanks! but it ain't as nice as you think, we deal with lots Bulls**t most of the time :-) but yea, seems like you know lots bout aircraft as a layman.. :-)

  • take it easy man, i was seriuos, I wish some day stop seeing youtube and google too and work whit true airplanes...but for the moment I study my other passion, astrophysics. I dont know about aircrafts nor a half that can know a person who works directly with them as yourself say you do...Im only amateur, so I respect what you say so much :-)

  • thanks.....! astrophysics huh.. thats some deep stuff.. I'm also big on physics and mathematics. If you can handle astrophysics, you should be smart enough to work on aircraft. Hell, i aint that smart! :-) Or else shoot a little bit farther, rather than working on a plane, fly the damn thing! Thats what i'm planing, that one day I get my wings! you take it easy too bro! good luck :-)

  • Hello from Russia, fellows!! =))

  • kick ass vid go russian knights

  • lol, dude. You're very mistaken. Only a few the best usa pilots can do this.

  • @kalashmat1 Guess you mean Navy and Marines lol all our aces come from there.

  • @kalashmat1 your a fucking idiot we have TWO FLIGHT DEMONSTRATION TEAMS that kick these motherfucking wannabe pilots asses

  • @kalashmat1 also every US pilot is TRAINED to do this take the blue angels for example those guys fly 18 inches apart and the russian knights on the other hand are a few feet apart

  • @coolyo366 18 inches apart you need stability, and I'm not talking about the pilot. Every military pilot is a highly trained one, regardless of nationality.

The Sukhois are most likely very unbalanced planes, this is why they are capable of manoeuvres none of the U.S. fighters can do. The price is instability. You can see the way they jitter.

  • @Oerrrsch No modern fighter plane is stable, every fighter plane made since 1975 for military use has been inherently unstable. That 'jitter' is not instability either, that's control sensitivity, again, all planes have it, it becomes apparent when you watch a formation flight from inside a formation, you don't see it when you are on the ground. The Sukhoi is special because it can go outside the flight envelope and return to a controllable state very easily.

  • Plz, stop thinking that always US is the best of the world!

Just accept that sometimes other people are better !!

Russian military planes are better than US military planes, it's the fact! That's why US planes have long range missile, they can fight in real dogfight !!!

Real pilots and real planes can show their real capacities on real dogfights....

  • YUP..I even know that...The only Thing were real good at are Air too Ground Strikes. When was the last time We Got into a Real Air war besides a Video game?

  • It was, if i'm right during the Kosovo war, against Mig 29 from serbian air force, in the nineties.....

One other fact, is that USA doesn't want to send the F22 for example in the battlefront because of financial reasons if one of these too expensive aircrafts was lost...

F22, Rafale, EF-2000 typhoon..... are the last generation of piloted aircrafts, the time has come for aircrafts like the Global Hawk, the Predator, aircrafts without Pilots.....

  • It's not a fact, you're falling for your own trap. If you understand the facts and look at the numbers, there are a number of US military jets that outperform russian counterparts.

  • @malbargouvieux That would be an opinion. Unless you have statistics then don't call it a fact. Infact the F-15 has a perfect combat record of 104-0. You can't say the same for the MiG-29.

  • @paramedic90emt

I saw the Sukhoi Su-27, the MIG 35 OVT in action during the Paris Airshow, and the american aicrafts can't do what this aircraft did, that is my fact and not a statistic....

The russians fighters are the most popular aicrafts during the airshows than the americans, that is an another fact....

And at least but not last, a F-22 have been illuminated by a french Mirage 2000 of the Saoudi Airforce recently......

  • @paramedic90emt if you see in f15 where 50 against maybe 2 migs of oldest modification and if f15 will ever meet su27 in close combat it dont have any chance

  • I've seen both teams.

A Blue Angel plane scraped it's underbelly on a low pass and the show was cancelled after 5 minutes of fly-bys at high altitude and that incident.

I saw a Russian Knights show in Moscow, it lasted a whole hour, and I must say some of the things they did were incredible.

    Red Arrows rule though :P

  • Imagine putting those pilots on bule angle planes. Russians rule man. Fuck US of A.

  • anyone got the name of the song?

  • Those guys that are flying them are just normal, no show, just tight. Unlike blue angels, they're packin' show :P

  • They are all pretty damned good. I'm going to see the Thunderbirds this weekend (10-25-08) in Houston. I would love to see a show featuring the TBirds, Angels and these guys. The Brits are good too.

  • Good video but they are not as tight in formation as blue angels.

    Cheers...

  • Have you seen the size of an SU-27 compaired to an F-18? No wonder they are not as tight! You need to see these guys in life to fully apriciate how good they are! Not trying to say they are better than the Angels but dam for the size of plane they fly its awsom! Hats of to them!...

  • Like Flying f-14 or 15's in a real tight formation heh..

  • They are bigger than both thoughs aircraft!...

  • Very True. Good show, but this is no where near the 15-18" that the Blue Angels fly at.

  • Dunno the name of the song, but I can tell you that it's probably russian. BTW Exelent vid mate ;-)

  • WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE SONG PLEASE?

  • these guys have had lots of practice :)

  • yeaah bab...this is whata i love

  • Great!

  • it's Su-27 Flanker and one Su-30.

  • It are -27's, those are the single seat ones, but the 2-seaters are Su-27UB's ;)

  • what are u talking about?? its clearly su-27

  • a beautiful jet.

  • yeahhhhh

  • awsome! thanks!@
