Follow Greenway Road from alongside Churston station to the bridge over the line. The curves are visible from the roadside just beyond, but at this time of year the vegetation is probably thicker.
Re. "67021 was summoned from Bristol". Are you sure 67021 wasn't on the back of the train all the time? Lovely video. You missed the "Sea Wall", but that closes at high tide and it's a long walk from Dawlish I suppose.
Although the train went through Dawlish at speed, we caught up with it at Cockwood Harbour (we even drove alongside the engine for a while) and beat it to Starcross. Unfortunately the wind was blowing the rain straight into the lens so the shot never made it into the final edit.
A very excellent pieces of work there! My lord wasnt it such a dreadfull day with the weather! Possibly the worsest conditions! She really fought up Whiteball really hard! Passed through Dawlish in good running and you was about 5 yards from were I was at St Davids!
I saw you standing in the corner of the car park at St Davids before it got dark, then, when most people had given up and gone home, I moved into your space to capture the departure.
Thats right my nan was with me aswell you propally noticed what we was doing, I coulda stayed there longer but being soaking wet during the day and risking my cam being damaged by the rain wasnt worth taking chances, thats why we left.
Ah so that's where you were hiding at Whiteball! Good shots of the turntable. I know as i was standing next to you. I didn't realise you went to Dawlish too! I was at the station trying to take shelter, but some idiot got in the way of my shot just at the end.
We were heading for Dawlish station too, but chose the raised platform by the road because I have often wanted to do a shot from there, but on a dry day you'd never get it to yourself.
Looks like the tender was jacked so that she would fit! Thanks for posting...great to an LMS giant on GWR metals.

Oh I forgot to say as well. Lizzie was failed due to a badly clinkered fire and she couldn't produce any Steam...or so i'm told.

Ah, not the fault of the engine, then. Didn't think it would be. Just rubbish coal, presumably.
