He stole all of it. I say stole because he never acknowledged it.there was pictures of him surrounded with about 200 african art pieces .The trick is simple, first archeologues describe it as "primitive", effectively rendering it useless in the eyes of every one. And then they proceeded to copy it in its entirety.if you confront them with evidences they will say " they borrowed or have been influenced".Even though their entire body of work is comprised from things they can't grasp.

How can you say Picasso was predjudiced against Africa?I think he was successfull from the outset in rendering African contours to his portrait's.I did not realize Matisse was influenced as you describe.Brilliant!
