  • I just Love Ms Ross !!!

  • I can see why MJ liked her so much and chose her to be the mother of his children if his mother pass. She is a special person.

  • These are by far some of the all time best diana ross interviews.. wish everyone in the USA could see these.

  • A very rare look at the humbleness of the Ultimate Diva. You got to see a very sincere side of the Boss Ms. Ross.

  • The Death, the telling your boy's that daddy is gone, and then traveling so far to say goodbye had to be tough itself. How she remained as pretty as she is here is AMAZING.

But again Diana has never not been AMAZING-

  • She always seems to be very much in the moment, and that makes her so real. I feel like I want to know more when I see her. There is just something about her..hmmm...I really like her

  • serious does is there an interview that diana mentions of Michael jackons besides the 80's and 90's man what happen between Diana Ross and Michael

  • @nickcena123

She moveon and got on with her life.

  • Also I would like to say although they may have divorced, you must remember Diana Ross is a woman who understands her inner core. While she loved Mr. Naess is it? She understood that her needs were more powerful than even that love. Although I think they respected each other and appreciated one another long after they had left one another, if really they ever left one another.

  • This interview was probably years ago, but I think it was a very beautiful interview. I have long since being a little girl loved Diana Ross and this interview makes me love her even more. Diana, I met a Norweign as well and he too is the love of my life. Norweigns are good people. Diana do not be sad, as he will be with you for the rest of your life. I can feel that energy between the two of you and he is in heaven smiling down at you. You brought him great joy and your sons, WOW!

  • Norwegian : hun ligner litt på michael jackson i det intervjuet!

English: She looks like michael jackson in that interview

  • WOW, my tears began at 3:00 . . . oh Miss Ross. Prayers always.

  • diana was very close to Arne's father and mother. Tracee and Leona visit each other often. Leona has said on her website that she listens to Diana's music when she's feeling down. They say that diana married him for money, but as you can see they knew nothing about each other. She also was so headstrong that she didn't want to live in Oslo, because it was too cold and she missed Connecticut and New York....that was the demise of their marriage.

  • @broke2471 They say she married him for money? How stupid. Firstly she didn't know who he was, and secondly he proclaimed he was going to marry her without proposing to her first. She was furious. He didn't tell about it there, but he was a real male chauvinist. But nice I guess, people really loved him.

  • @heyjudy2 - Diana is worth over 200Millions dollars alone so she doesn't hurt for money at all. Miss Ross has always been prone to marrying rich powerful men for love, for money we'll never know, but who else could she marry having all of the money that she has. Although it was rumored she married Arne for his status & got pregnant intentionally to gain status, but she's always wanted her kids to be stable & be provided for financially as well as herself.

  • Clearly, the love between the two of them lasted far beyond the marriage. So sad.

  • I'm from Norway, and I meet her at Grand Hotel in Oslo for many years ago. She was so kind and friendly, and verry beautiful:)) I will never forgot that moment: She is the queen!!!

  • does she (diana) look better in person?

  • When I meet her for many years ago she was very beautiful ang look better in person, but everybody grow older, so you must see it from that, and I think she still a beauty in her ages.

    XO

    Carina

  • She is VERY beautiful and a prime example of aging gracefully. Remember that she was grieving, which causes a person to look weary. She probably hadn't had much sleep, either.

  • Diana is fascinating to look at and listen too. Arne however ended the marriage and certainly moved on fathering 2 sons after Diana? I guess its natural to romaticize memories of the deceased. He said once "you call this a marriage" guess diana didn't get that memo.

  • Divalish - you are so right - and this tells us that all people are complex. As for the raw sadness of it all....it has never been written as to exactly why this marriage failed, as it is apparent that Ms. Ross was still in love with her ex-husband. But when two people are married but refuse to live in the same place at the same time - it can get very lonely. Maybe that's what happened to Mr. Naess and finally the long distance marriage had to end....for him.

  • Diana Ross does not have 8 children. She has five. Rhonda, Tracee, Chudney, Ross, and Evan.

  • In this interview Diana mentions that as a parent, she sees Arne's children Katinka, Christopher and Leona as her children too.

  • So sad...it brings tears to the eyes to see the kids carrying their dad's coffin on the way to his final resting place...but at least there is joy somehow in seeing how close a family unit they are- and how strong, nurturing, and dignified a mother Ross is to her 8 children...

  • What did he die of?

  • Arne Naess died by a falling accident while he was on a climbing expedition in South Africa.

  • Thank you

  • I had to take a moment or two to say a profound thank you to NilesNL69 for posting this rare 2 part interview of Diana Ross in th aftermath of the death of Arne Naess. I'm sure I speak for many of Diana's fans when I say it is a privelege to be provided a window into her and her family's tragedy and the sorrow. I was completely riveted by her dignity, composure, and the rawness of her grief. God Bless you Miss Diana Ross!!!

  • @sneckim Absolutely True, I had not seen this and certainly wanted to see something concerning it. I have loved Diana for years.

  • We all have joy AND pain

  • Miss Ross is as lovely as her wonderful music.

  • In contrast a COMPLETELY different portrait from the one painted in the media.

  • She really loved him, so sad!
