  • Unspoilt? it was. did anyone from the wildlife trust actually ask anyone who goes there about their so called improvements? If Tolkien walked through there now he would be horrified at the councils so called "improvements". hey council, why dont you chop down Sherwood forest as well, so we can have wheelchair access? I bet the people who have made the so called improvements have never actually been there. Tolkien would be turning in his grave.You cannot improve on nature.

    me and my brother and cousin used to go there every week with my nan and the dogs

  • I don't have any more information, but there are volunteers, as featured in this video, who I'm sure could help you. Or you could try the Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country.

    i dont know my nan told me it used to be a farm and

    there is actualy a knocked down house in the middle of the woods woth broken potts and glass around them and deeper in it there us a swamp

    its so nostalgic walking through the woods just as the sun sets its beautiful
