I am On xbox But I feel your pain I Don't know exactly why but on consoles player quality has been suffering badly! Almost HALF of my games are WALK OVER matches or just bad quality games! Not due to lag or server issues but teamwork issues! I have played battlefield games for 5 years I Love the teamwork the game offers! But In BF3 I have been having games were the bottom HALF of my team has lees then 200 points in a game and a K/D ratio that makes me want to throw up like 0/10 !

@mrfelix54 It's very difficult and stupid to quick scope and no scope in BF since it has no advantage. With the vast size of the maps, it's better to stay far away and take accurate shots.
CoD has such small maps, hence no point in aiming down the sights.
Not to mention, most people play the objective in here and play their own role (engineer, support, etc) rather than just use snipers and treat them like shotguns.
@URsuckishATlife Not necessarily, do you get irritated when you get one-shotted by M40A5's as you try to take back a point that's being captured? I don't, because I'm the one capturing and using that M40A5. You think it's stupid because you don't like the thrill of missing your first shot, but honestly, staying away from the action rewards you a LOT less in the team-work category. They should just get rid of the recon class completely if you play it like that.
@111tina222 I play Hardcore and have yet to see someone who runs with a sniper and lasts long. Hell, I've seen a couple of people try to do what you just described and get killed by pistols, why? Because using a bolt action rifle at such short range is riskier than using a semi auto pistol.
Why use a long range weapon at such short range? Why risk your live and ticket when you can shoot from 500m away and still get a kill and protect your teammate that was gonna be ambushed by said enemy?

Battlefield is getting closer to beating Cod in sales im a cod and bf fan btw i like both. Last year bad company 2 sold about 2 mil copies while black ops sold 14 mil now its predicted that mw3 will sell 15 mil and bf 3 will sell 8 to 10 mil. so getting closer and closer in sales though i have a feeling both are eventually going to start selling the same amount and neither will beat each other.

Can somebody help. Every time I try to run BF3 a Release Date Check pops up. I hit accept and it goes to 30% and then stops. I left it running all night and was still at 30%. Any ideas?

They said that they had altered the points earned by doing objectives and with the Support Strike Package that doesn't reset when you die, people won't be afraid to get in there and grab the objective while risking getting killed by grenades or something.
