I have a 2010 Kia Forte with 12K on it Love my car ! It is the canadian model LX with 4 speed auto , power windows & Locks , I think the American Forte LX dosn't have those features !

i think that's an SX which is 2.4L, not 2.0L

@SW4TR3PP1N Yeah I got the black mid level kia. I like it alot. Its my first car, and really the only other cars Ive driven are in the $38k-$50k range. For the price it is certainly well worth it. My only complaint is that the AC is pretty loud when its on all the way, I live in florida so I have it on high more than average. But yes, I really like it. Glad I got it and not a toyota or honda.

I have the forte koup 2.4l 6 speed manual,, with leather enterior and I got an amazing deal on it, starting price was $22,000 I got it for $17,000,,NICE!

its an SX w the 2.4 and 6speed, not the 2.0... fog lights give it away

i wouldnt take either... but i do agree with you.. ONLY because a civic never turns heads.. i see a SI Mugen every day when i pass by a gas station where the dude works.. and the first day i was like mehh the paint job is nice.. but after that never bother to look at it... there just way to many civics out there.. and most are either riced out or driven by older people that only care about MPG and reliabilty

I drove the 2.0 EX and the 2.4 SX and both drive nice. The EX rides better. Both look great and the interior is very nice! Faults? I have heard of air conditioner problems, water leak problems, oil burning problems. This from the two Forte club sites. Makes me kind of leery. I have an 02 Kia Spectra GSX with 125k and it still drives like new. The dash deformed around the defroster vents, the paint on the mirrors and body side moldings faded. Tempted to take a chance on this Koup though!

yea the modle with the 2.4l comes out a bit expensive at final price a total of 27 000 or so ill probably go with the base model personnaly... anyway gas price can jump anytime so i'd rather go with a smaller engine

this car is fast motor trend say to 60 mph in 7.1 sec and the 1/4 mile in 15.4 in 89 mph sou add header,k@n,magnaflow and 15 o 14.9 sec in the 1/4 mile in 93 o 94 mph nice move

That 2.0L sounds very smooth and nice sounding for a 4cyl. Kia's 2.4L is also very smooth and pleasant to listen to. I should know, I drive one every day!

I test drove the 2.0 l economy option. I was very impressed. I am very tall in the torso, yet did not feel cramped at all; cabin felt open and airy, and it was fun to drive even with the economy option(27 city, 37 hwy). Well done, Kia!

I just test drove the economy option as well, I think it out performs the normal one just because it has an extra gear, allowing it to stay in higher rev ranges longer. pretty torquey and smooth at the same time. well done kia!

In fact, the engine in the Forte is very similar to the Evo engine. And with a 6spd manual, you know it will be fun!

LOL, KIA has actually been collecting royalties from Mitsubishi for the past 3 years off of the developement of the Theta I enignes 2.0L and 2.4L.
