@missjpace i'd recommend going with the smaller size. particularly for male gymnasts on high bar, you want to make sure the grips are not too long. the grips will stretch as they get broken-in. if they get too long, the gymnast will feel like they are not able to hang on as well. worst-case scenario when they get too long (mostly for guys on high bar) is that the dowel on the grip wraps around the bar and touches the leather on the other side and "locks" .... not a pretty sight to see
if the holes are too small, but it's the right length, what do i do? sand out the holes? my fingers are almost twice the holes...
i'm not a gymnast but i'm practicing swinging on a high bar, so i have meaty hands
what do i do?
