Its quite surprising ( & disgusting) people here trying to compare one singer against the other. Why do you need to do that?

While Lata's singing is exquisite, Bushraji's singing is exquisite as well, but in a different way. Don't forget that Lata Mangeskar rendered this song when she was young and brings to it the youthful charm while Bushraji sings it in a more mature fashion.

Both have sung this song well, so don't end up criticizing one or the other.

The original song is from the film Anupama and sung by Lataji. The music is by Hemant Kumar and lyrics are by Kaifi Azmi. Bushra's rendition is superb. Her voice is heavier than Lataji's but she maintains the tune and tempo to perfection. And she sings with such feeling and it stirs you. Fantastic !

I have seen the complete drama on DVD, it is really excellent and nice, it truly maintain the high standards known of Pakistani dramas like Ankahi, Waris etc. However, one thing that irritates me is that there have been promotions to indian classical singers and movies, and I believe wherever the name of inidan classical singers were used, names such as Ustad Amanat Ali, Mehndi Hassan, Abida Perveen, Noor Jahan, Mehnaz, Nayara Noor, Tahira Syed and many mores could be used.
