  • 2 dislikers are the Terran Dominion or zerg.

  • greatest game song ever created

  • I feel sorry for the Terran marine that looked up only to find the BC leaving.. He got zerg rushed

  • I hope this music was the second national anthem of South Korea

  • "Official No Air Support Today" Musik

avaible for every Battlecruiser or Flagship!!!

  • @nxvznx "some things are just worth fighting for" is what i think you mean, and not all terrans are like that anyway, the dominion is evil (well maybe that's a harsh word)

  • WHO'S IN CHARGE HERE!?

    ...

    WHERE IS THE AIR SUPPORT!?

    (Points up)

(Looks up to see a lone battlecruiser going into orbit)

    .......

  • Mustruuuuum nyuuuu :(

  • MUSTRUUUUUUUM NEWMAN!!!!!!

    RIP FORUM MAN!

  • "Morituri Te Salutant"

We who are about to die salute you!

  • @TheVoiceOfReason93 *They who are about to die salute you.

  • @Zephyr503 A line uttered by the gladiators to the Roman emperor at the time...

  • @7Blacksteel7 Indeed, but the correct translation is with "they". I think the "we" version would be something like "Morituri te salutamus".

  • @tarmilaweck If I remember reading in Wikipedia, the whole quote would be "Ave Imperator, morituri te salutant"

  • @7Blacksteel7 Yep, the "Ave Imperator" is just a salutation to the emperor :)

  • ultddave, do you have the piano piece Gerard plays on his record player in the last cinematic?

  • @thekkl Here you go - watch?v=hxr8Ef1PLZU

  • Donnez tout pour l'honneur! - "Give everything for honor!"

    Truly a badass creed :D

  • This is the best video game track ever made. :D

  • Morituri te salutant Vitale salutatis Morituri te salutant thesauri audacia creatura *res divina spero* 1 lux *vivescere lux* 2 prex perfidelis adhortari laureata admonitu N'Ayez pas peur De soufrir Le futur Nous attend Les soldats reviendront! Arriveront victorieux! Donnez tout pour l'honneur!
  • @asst9999 Sorry, but this set of lyrics is incorrect. It was posted by a forum user on the message board of the /other/ Blizzard composer, and since it was posted right next to the correct French lyrics(by Jason Hayes) it was circulated all over as being correct, despite the transcription and translation being poor. Since Glenn Stafford--the composer of the Latin aria--isn't online anywhere, all the lyrics sites et cetera have the wrong lyrics.

  • My pride killed him. And now my pride has consumed me as well...

  • this will be the best starcraft forever, no matter how many great graphics they putt on the new starcrafts of the future.... this is... the basis, the origin..... the game that I played for 10 years.

  • I got chills listening to that! Ahh the memories.

  • @TheReturnofLurker15 I think not

  • @TheReturnofLurker15 " when bush dies another bush will come in " - Gabriel Tosh

  • @pimpollito18 Um tosh your are wrong. Both bush are tyrant and NWO faggots.

  • "This is not something in a room about disecting a zerg, this is what you must face when you go into battle, you understand alexis...?"

"Yes...yes i understand my good admiral"

"take is into orbit...we have seen enough!".

  • Dugalle might have had a lot of good in him, but if the intro of Brood War shows us anything, he was also ruthless and cruel, sacrificing an entire colony of innocent people for the sake of an experiment; an experiment to see how best he could use the mindless, savage Zerg as a weapon for the UED. There is nothing to be admired from that.

  • @StormZephyr The impression I got from the Brood War intro was that he was doing what he determined was necessary. His actions were cold blooded, but he very much seemed reluctant and resigned, in his demeanor and choice of words. Not cruel or heartless.

  • @DarkLaith actually, he just wanted to see what the zerg were capable of. It was more of a weapons test.

  • an excellent track that calms the nerves. just ain't right that people dislike this track.

  • (SPOILER WARNING!) They reused this song in Wings of Liberty, in the cinematic 'Heir Apparent'. It's the record that Valerian is playing in his quarters before Raynor barged in.

  • @whipass2345 If you listen closely, it was also used in the cinematic "Betrayal" in the scenes where Arcturus is standing on the bridge. Which makes little sense, considering I always assumed this song was brought in by the UED.

  • @TriforceOmega More likely, the song predates the colonization of the Koprulu sector, which makes it entirely possible that the terran colonists brought it along with a bunch of other old classics.

  • @Arcian Just listen to the jukebox in the Cantina. I mean it has Sweet Home Alabama. I somehow doubt the UED would be bringing that with them.

  • @whipass2345 And during the dream when Arturcus is above in the battlecruiser, ordering the fleet to pull away and abandon Kerrigan.

  • *hears the last terran comlink crackle dead*

  • MY WIFE FOR HIRE!!!

  • "Are you prepared to go all the way with this Alexi?"

"Yes... yes I am prepared to go all the way, my good admiral."

    RIP Stukov

  • @ReconTeam111 Stukov was probably the only Legit person in the UED that died honorably

  • @ReconTeam111 Stukov was a badass... fuck Duran

  • @ReconTeam111 Stukov isn't dead anymore.

look up Ressurection IV on the Starcraft Wiki (its been confirmed canon multiple times)

  • Who's in charge here? Where is the air support?

  • This is my favorite song of all time!

  • English Lyrics for song Those about to die salute you the living wish you well Those about to die salute you have courage servant of god have hope hope to live, hope pray very faithful soldier for victory today by singing. Don't be afraid Of suffering The future Awaits us The soldiers will return! They will arrive victoriously! Give everything for honor!

  • Hmm, after listening multiple times, I now notice it starts with the lyrics 'Morituri te salutant', translates into 'Those who are going to die, salute you.' How fitting.

  • Does anyone know the song at the beginning of the scene? The Guitar?

  • Great music! I hope Starcraft II has music as good as this. :)

  • @Haktsu they reused this song in sc2

  • "So, Gerard, i suspect you have a good reason for pulling me away from my - duties"

"Your vodka can wait, my good Alexei, come, stand here you need to see this"

"I know all about the Zerg Gerard, We've all seen the tapes a hundred -"

"You've seen nothing! Dissecting a dead Zerg in a lab is one thing, unleashing them on men is another! You must go into this with both eyes open, once started, there is no going back. Are you prepared to go all the way with this Alexei?"

  • @Redroniksre123

"yes.....Yes. I am prepared to go all the way."

    "Good. Good!"

"Admiral, the colony will be overrun in a matter of minutes. Shall we intervene?"

"Take us into orbit mister Malmsteen. we've seen enough"

  • @Redroniksre123 'Duties' as in Fap?

  • "Dissecting a dead Zerg in a lab is one thing, unleashing them on man is another!"

  • Fanstastic Music

and I absolutely Love UED theme

  • This reminds me on the epic battles I fought in the campaign

  • This is Glenn Stafford (the composer) favorite piece. He told us in "the making of Echoes of War."

  • ill never forget the basterds left the ppl behind

  • TAKE US INTO ORBIT

  • @GerardDuGall i don't think he screamed it

  • Take us into orbit, Mr. Malmsteen. We've seen enough.

  • @Biub I believe the admiral says "Baumstein" which is a German last name and would be in the trend of the Gerard being French and Alexi Russian.

  • truely epic

i wonder if there is sheet music / a score for this available?

  • "are you ready to go all the way with this?"

"yes.... yes! i am ready to go all they way!"

  • luv this music

  • awsome music

  • "Take us into orbit captain..."

    I'll never forget that...

  • you forgot part of it

  • @FierceBirdOfFlame "Good. Good, I knew I could count on you"

I will never forget that... I remember it every time I play StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty.

  • @FierceBirdOfFlame

    Translation: "Beam me up Scotty!"
