@nxvznx "some things are just worth fighting for" is what i think you mean, and not all terrans are like that anyway, the dominion is evil (well maybe that's a harsh word)
Brood War Aria, often called Morituri Te Salutant for the recognizable first line. The Latin aria is by Blizzard maestro Glenn Stafford; the French portion by Jason Hayes. Jason posted the French lyrics and translation on his message board, but the widely circulated Latin lyrics were appended by a well-meaning but incorrect forumgoer. Poorly transcribed and translated, but they appeared next to the official French, so they made it onto a bunch of lyrics sites.
@asst9999 Sorry, but this set of lyrics is incorrect. It was posted by a forum user on the message board of the /other/ Blizzard composer, and since it was posted right next to the correct French lyrics(by Jason Hayes) it was circulated all over as being correct, despite the transcription and translation being poor. Since Glenn Stafford--the composer of the Latin aria--isn't online anywhere, all the lyrics sites et cetera have the wrong lyrics.
this will be the best starcraft forever, no matter how many great graphics they putt on the new starcrafts of the future.... this is... the basis, the origin..... the game that I played for 10 years.
Dugalle might have had a lot of good in him, but if the intro of Brood War shows us anything, he was also ruthless and cruel, sacrificing an entire colony of innocent people for the sake of an experiment; an experiment to see how best he could use the mindless, savage Zerg as a weapon for the UED. There is nothing to be admired from that.
@StormZephyr The impression I got from the Brood War intro was that he was doing what he determined was necessary. His actions were cold blooded, but he very much seemed reluctant and resigned, in his demeanor and choice of words. Not cruel or heartless.
(SPOILER WARNING!) They reused this song in Wings of Liberty, in the cinematic 'Heir Apparent'. It's the record that Valerian is playing in his quarters before Raynor barged in.
@whipass2345 If you listen closely, it was also used in the cinematic "Betrayal" in the scenes where Arcturus is standing on the bridge. Which makes little sense, considering I always assumed this song was brought in by the UED.
@TriforceOmega More likely, the song predates the colonization of the Koprulu sector, which makes it entirely possible that the terran colonists brought it along with a bunch of other old classics.
English Lyrics for song Those about to die salute you the living wish you well Those about to die salute you have courage servant of god have hope hope to live, hope pray very faithful soldier for victory today by singing. Don't be afraid Of suffering The future Awaits us The soldiers will return! They will arrive victoriously! Give everything for honor!
Hmm, after listening multiple times, I now notice it starts with the lyrics 'Morituri te salutant', translates into 'Those who are going to die, salute you.' How fitting.
"So, Gerard, i suspect you have a good reason for pulling me away from my - duties"
"Your vodka can wait, my good Alexei, come, stand here you need to see this"
"I know all about the Zerg Gerard, We've all seen the tapes a hundred -"
"You've seen nothing! Dissecting a dead Zerg in a lab is one thing, unleashing them on men is another! You must go into this with both eyes open, once started, there is no going back. Are you prepared to go all the way with this Alexei?"
2 dislikers are the Terran Dominion or zerg.

@7Blacksteel7 Indeed, but the correct translation is with "they". I think the "we" version would be something like "Morituri te salutamus".
