If you think that should be a goal, you obviously don't know the laws of the game. "A goalkeeper is considered to be in control of the ball while in the act of bouncing it on the ground or tossing it in the air." This is within Law 12 of the FIFA laws of the game. The referee was correct to disallow the goal.

It is saying that the goalkeeper IS considered to be in control of the ball throughout the entire process of bouncing the ball on the ground or tossing the ball in the air to punt it. Therefore, despite the fact that the goalkeeper is not physically touching the ball, he is still, by rule, in control of the ball and thus, he cannot be challenged in the manner that Henry challenged this goalkeeper. The referee absolutely got the call right.

But also, the ref doesn't know what he's doing, because, if you continue reading that law, Henry should receive a yellow card for unsportsmanly behaviour. But he didn't, because at the time of the game, it was legal. How do I know this? because I am a (newly) qualified referee, and this was one example we were given on the course of how to apply the law, despite it being wrong!
