Susan has a voice that is extremely beautiful and definitely a gift to the world. It has a quality that is completely unique and is absolutely mesmerizing. It has the effect of the Pied Piper on me, and it would seem, on millions of others around the planet. She has brought together so many people all across the world with her music. When Susan sings, the angels step aside.

I wish her appearance could be left alone. I like the look of someone that could be a loving Aunt Susan. It wasn't going to happen, but I really liked the feeling of home. No varnish.

@Molhedim It's an old saying...I left out a word so it might have made it confusing....The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. When the total effect of something is greater than each of it's individual parts added together a tough one to explain.

When many ppl like her...the opinion of few is irelevant? dunno where you go with this but her voice isnt that great and it wasnt even when she was young.Is not like Celine Dion for example or others . Susan sings ok dont get me wrong but not enought to get the rewards she got. I dont think she deserve that.

@Molhedim No you don't get the expressions...I'll break it down...lets take a beautiful girl for example. If you look at her piece by piece..her nose is a little to big, her hair isn't exactly right, her eyes are a little to close, her ears are a little big, and she has a few freckles...you read the description and you wouldn't think she's pretty. Yet somehow you combine them all and she's beautiful. Thus the phrase The whole is greater than the sum of her parts...

@Molhedim right ...the whole of her voice certainly wouldn't have gotten her this far(even though it's a great voice), but combined with her back story, her demeanor, the adverse reaction to her before she sang, etc etc her whole is greater than the sum of her parts....in other words it's not just the voice. All of us have a little Susan in us. There isn't anybody over 16 who hasn't been spit out by the world once. So we like her for more than her voice.

@Terimuzik i have nothing against her personality and the fact ppl like her for that . But if ppl like her for her voice ...and the voice isnt that great , well that's a problem. I think most ppl like her voice because of her personality , if she had a nasty personality , most would say she sucks at singing , but because she seems kind and humble , ppl give to much praise to her voice.....i think you can agree with me if you are smart and not stupid like many are today.
