  • Question: how does that ride relate to the saw movies? How does it relate to jigsaw?

  • @ndjoker34 This video does not show any of the onride theming, whilst queuing indoors you are spoken to by jigsaws doll (billy) on lots of tvs scattered around the area. this ride has a double dispatch, so if you are in the first car you pass the doll on its bike and it laughs at you, if your on the second car you stop while it talks to you. afterwards you turn a corner and face a pair of swinging gondolas from SAW 5 and as you drop you see a board of spikes flashing infront of your face :)

  • @ndjoker34 and during the roll you pass over a dead body from the bathroom in saw 1 and it squirts water at you, then before you go up the main lift jigsaws doll appears on the tv and says game over and then laughs at you. when the ride finishes and you come back into the station, jigaw says 'congratulations you are still alive' and you see the dolls head on top of some laying down mannequins on a shelf... Thats how it relates to saw movies and jigsaw :D

  • The indoor "MCBR" is not an MCBR in-fact its a lift

  • Yes it's a lift that slows the train down + stops the train if it's to close to the one infront. very much like a mcbr so i decided to call it that lol :)

  • It doesnt stop anymore, the upper part does that ( billys speech) Lift would not only be NEVER classed as a MCBR but it would never be classed as a brake run. for starters all brake-runs go on a downward angle. saw's lift 1 goes at a steepish upward angle ruling out both brake run and mid course brake run.

  • that thing that u said was an overbanked turn, isnt

  • Yeah it kind of is, or an immelman turn, they are kind of the same.

  • went on this on the 20th july was amazing loved it

  • I went on this in May... and I'm going on again hopefully in September... YAY. Best ride. :)

  • weird, i went on it in may, and sept lol

  • I'm going on the 25th September... first ride of the day again, me thinks! I didn't go on Nemesis or Stealth in May, so I'll have to go on those this time.

  • mate, idea for you....this is what i did on saturday( when i went) get to the park at about half 9..they let people in at 15 minutes to 10 ....in the dome, by a fast track for saw, then rush to stealth, and go in the main queue, get front row seats and then maybe do that twice, then, nemesis then colossus, then uv already got the big things done, then by that time, saw will be ready and u can go ride that....thats what we did

  • Well at least I'm going on a Friday, so (in theory) it won't be AS busy as it would be on a Saturday (like when I last went).

Your idea is good, but we're gonna try and get there for around half 8ish so we get inside the park quicker. I swear they didn't have fast track for SAW? I know they do for Nemesis, Colossus and Stealth... but SAW?

I wanna go on Tidal Wave again... obviously. The only rides I don't go on are the ones that just spin you around on the spot... eugh.

  • It was pretty quiet to be honest when i went (on a saturday)......half 8? it doesnt open till 10 and ul be bored shitless....they dont let u in the park till 9:45 so there really is no point lol

yeah theyve had fast track for saw since it opened....its £4 for a saw fast track

  • Oh. My friend said today that it opened at 9am... hmm, I dunno. The earlierish you get there then the higher up the queue you are, I guess. But I don't want to wait for an hour if it doesn't open properly until 9:45!

I went on May 13th, I swear they didn't have it. Will have to find out when I get there seeing as you said they have it! Be a bonus if they did!

  • lol ur right they didnt! + i advise you t go on saw first because i go every 2 weeks and everytime it gets up to 75 mins or more, 65 on average. but if you go straight away it should only be about 25 mins expecially if your getting there at half 8, and go on stealth 2nd because it takes a while for that queue to get long. :) hope i helped lol

  • You go every 2 weeks? Someone loves Thorpe Park!

Well I'm going on Friday, and the kids are back at school... so, in theory, it won't be AS busy as it was when I went on a Saturday. Obviously there will still be a lot of people... but yeah. I'll get there between half 8 and 9 and SAW will definitely be the first ride again.

When I went on there we waited for about half hour and once we got off it said 90 min wait. <_<

  • yeah the same happened to me! i was like whoah :O + i'm a big fan lol :P but also i want to make the most of my annual pass hehe

  • No no no...if your willing to pay £4 to go on saw in about 20 minutes then defo do that

me and my friend went on stealth twice, nemesis once THEN saw at 12:00 and we got on in 5 minutes with fast track

  • Just looked, it opens from 10am - 5pm on the 25th September...I'm just thinking, I think me and my friend got there before half 9...id say to get there for about 9:15 latest, then get ur tickets and wait outside by the big gates for 10 minutes, then when you get in the dome, by fast track for saw...I know 100% that there is fast track for saw, i got 2 fast tracks for saw in May and 2 on saturday

  • btw the saw fast track is like....stealth or saw, just ask for a saw fast track

  • Fastrack wasn't there to start with. they used the fastrack queue for the live actors :)
