Casey was trying hard to get Jesse to get an apartment with her so she could get out of her house, I believe she made up the story about Lee trying to molest her to manipulate Jesse into thinking he needed to rescue her by moving into an apartment with her. Jesse's dad put a stop to their plans. She probably also wanted attention & sympathy.
