@irkofan That would be way cool! I usualy break it out on Monday nights at the Saloon and play with several other people. Perhaps I'll make a video of all us playing it. Me? delightful?? lol you make me giggle!
@bodhrannf Thanks Steve - yeah long time no see... I see you have a coulpe new ones too - I'll be over to visit soon (after I catch up at work) The Parting glass is one I've been wanting to do for awhile.
@jayrbee60 No problem. I'm a little rusty, not having played as much as I used to, but maybe I can change that. I'll take a further look through your vids as well. cheers.
great sound from that dulcimer John ! I had a ceder Seagull Guitar for awhile but two many nights of passing out by the campfire and waking up covered in dew caused the bridge to come loose and the neck to warp beyond repair. I like the darker sound of ceder over spruce for some stuff, expecially for playing rythym behind other instruments.
Bummer about the seagull Danny - I certainly understand how that can happen - I've done the same myself. This dulcimer is just pure fun to play! Cheer to you!
@zazamaxi Thank you so much!!! You really got me thinking - I bet the accoustics in an old castle would make it extremely fun to play in one. Thanks for visiting! :-) -wonders where I could find one in the middle of the forest- Wisconsin is a bit shy on Medievel castles... Geez, now I wonder what it would sound like in my cedar forest. Thanks for the idea!!! :-D
I'd love to hear it in person, but this is great all the same. As always, thanks for sharing your delightful talent. <3

zazamaxi 10 months ago
@zazamaxi Hmmm... would it be bad to play a cedar topped Dulcimer in a cedar forest? Would it be like feeding steak to a cow?
