timing is key to a rotary engine or a piston engine. if you try to advance or retard too much failure can and will happen. like in any engine. just no valves to worry about.

assembly is reverse of disassembly hahaha.
But seriously, that's pretty much it, but with new parts. Dont forget to properly clearance the side seals
