Beautiful song. I grew up in Texas; lived in Austin for more than 30 years. I have lived in Boston and Atlanta but I never forget the peace and beauty of Central Texas. Can't wait to get back and jump in the Guadalupe River and Barton Creek (please keep them clean)!

My dad has four children including myself. He has a special song for ech of us. This is our song and for some reason I cry every time I hear it. Yet when I cry I'm happy. I love you daddy. Lately I have been growing away from him and avoiding the weekends I'm supposed to stay there. But, this song makes me wunna call him and reminde him how very important he is in my life. <3 (I pressed the replay button and started crying again...)

me on the Jimmy LaFave's music..I lost her last Nov on my birthday to

Ovarian Cancer..this was her favorite song and it was played at her service

with pictures of her and she also lived in Austin and saw Jimmy LaFave many

times there at various places..we went to Threadgill's to get out of the house

after losing her and FELT her presence there~!
