Just trying out the Mega minor. Not a bad torch for first time torch buyers, however an upgrade would soon follow. Probably within a year maybe less... when saying things like this it would be helpfull for you to discribe whats gonna need fixed

Do you have any sort of light filtering lens over the camera. I ask because i think you must have something, for the color of your work bench changed and I notice the lack of a yellow plume surrounding your work. tell me please are my suspicions correct? and if what i am seeing is true to the eye, then that flame is cleaner than my old welders torch, got the whole shebang from a pawn shop for 60$; 100', 2 regs, handle, torch & FB arrestors, and i make it work. my beads are jawdroppers:-)
i have some questions about setting up my mega minor that i thought you could help me with since you also have one. the main question that i have for you is, what all do i need to hook up the propane from my bbq take to my torch. types of gages regulators and such. its basically the only thing holding me back at this point in time.
I guess I missed this video when it first came out. Nice demo and a great video as usual. I have wondered about the difference between the Minor and the Mega Minor.
I just ran across your vid. I'v been useing the Nortel Miner. Does the Mega Miner make more noise than the Miner ? I think you must be useing Boro glass. I just started with glass so right now I'm still useing soft glass. I can tell you it's not as easy as it looks. Lol !
looks like another winner from nortel!-) they just keep making good usable torches.-)
I plan on demoing the minor throughout the dvd sere working on. its taking a lot to get all the set up segments well shot. it will speed up once we are on glass demos.-)
amazing technique with the wings i liked that

Yes I have a Didymium filter on the camera lens so it can filter the yellow sodium flare. The mega minor is a nice clean burning torch.
