This music is about rock with a positive message that appeals mainly to youths, and some of the best rock bands are christian bands. It doesn't matter if you are or are not religious, if you don't like a band skillet, pillar or red, you just have no taste in music.
being a christian is more than going to church its about really turning your life around and living for christ just because you go to church doesnt make you a christian if your in a barn does it make you a cow live for god and you will be blessed

This song really speaks to me I used to hate who I was and cared what everyone else thought of me but now I could care less what they think the only opinion that matters is God's and his never changes no matter what I do.

Saw this band when they first come on the scene at Muskogee, Ok. took our youth group to see. Their life stories made some of our kids look deeeeeeep. GOD BLESS!

@lowbudgetstudioslbs i dont know where you are from but i have seen plenty of movies with swearing and nudity that are PG14 not R. words like the F word i can see why you would thing are what you consider "filthy" but have you ever thought that they are not as bad as you are led to believe. F**K has many different meanings in some contexts like F**k you i can see where you are coming from but it can also be a positive thing like if you are in support of something you might say F**k ya (cont.)

@skatharulz Filthy language in the first verse is described as anything that is not building someone up or lifting up God. Pretty much..... anything with a negative connotation in the eyes of pepole. Anything that ANYBODY takes offense to. That is filthy..... THat first verse they put says anything that is not building someone up is filthy.

@3cn1ght I don't judge people, or at least I try to curb the urge to judge people. I make no claim of being perfect, but I do make a claim of being able to restrain the things that make us imperfect. Anger, hate, fear, (sexual impulses are a little harder due to raging hormones). As you said, "good times and self-expression". While anger is self expression, it by no means provides any outlet that results in good times for any but the angry person. Plus Slipknot is a bad influence.
