For me, SS2 was by far the best game in the entire series: it introduced chain combos, as well as the Genjuro, Cham Cham, Seiger, Nicotine, and Mizuki characters; the gameplay and sound effects were superior; the backgrounds and their musical themes were epic, and the player vs. player was second to none. A perfect game in every way considering it was released in the fall of 1994!!! Even now it's difficult to find a more complete weapon-based 2D fighter than SS2.

Infinites = lame. SS3 combos are only interesting if they don't use the same move more than once.
