You really tested the new Cinemizer OLED which will be available in Stores after CEBIT 2012 ? Are you sure about this ? So please give me some Details about its optics and resolution ( 1280x720p or lower ? ) Why didnt you made a review about it ?

There are no information on the Website of Carl-Zeiss-Company available yet.
No one will want this. The main shortcoming: Still the viewing angle. It's pathetic. And that would be the crucial aspect of any review, but you can't communicate that. You have to see the crap for yourself. Maybe in another 2 generations it will actually be bearable. Right now they are in no way an alternative to beamers and screens, even though I'd love the immersion when combined with headtracking. The market now: Expensive professional gear and consumer trash.

This will never come out, never ever, come out. There is already a head display at the same resolution for 300 dollars. This is still unproven and poor resolution, 2011, I don't think so, 2050, yeah, by then it will have 720P. By giving it a another date is a nice way to say, never!
@Ryuuken24 What display are you talking about that already exists? I don't think there is a 720p head mounted display available right now, especially not for 300 bucks.
I would love to test out one of those for the manufacturers!

I tested this, it's pathetic just like any Cinemizer. It's like staring at a stamp. 20+ years of VR goggles and still no progress - ridiculous.

I thought that Headplay has a hi-res display. You can get it for under $300 but it is old tech now and looks like they no longer manufacture it !
