This is Spore,the elusive Water phase.

The guys from Spore are talking about putting water phase,with water tribes,even water civilizations,but the problems of it were that fish phase requires 3D moving,underwater,wich means they need to make it posible to go in 6 directions,not in the 4 (5 if you fly,but it still isnt fully flying,just gliding for 5 minutes or so),so,that would fuck ur comp up

I think this creature stage is alot more realistic compared to the new one. I also likethe fish stage, casue i would make a shark and then never evolve. I would still want the newer spore for all oyher stages, cause it gives tips to beginners.

To answer the first question, yes it is fun. It is not just designing planets,there is a challenge involved. Secondly, it is $49.99 US to buy. It is online but not simultaneous. Other peoples races and planets interact with your race, but CPU controlled. It is PC/Mac only.

Hell the beta looks like more fun then the game. They screwed the game over. BIG disappointment. Truthfully its to repetitive to easy, no point to it. The space stage was the biggest disappointment. DONT BUY IT. If you want to play it still pirate it with a crack so the RMA (anti piracy tatic) doesnt fuck you over. The pirated version runs better.

No, you don't JUST design. You evolve from a cell, into a carnivore/herbivore depending on the jaws and what you eat, then you go into creature stage, eating other animals or plants. Then Tribal Stage, Civ stage and so on. Plus, the stuff you make can be enemies or allies in the future. It's one of the best games I have played. Maxis did a wonderful job.

I've played it...They probably replaced it will cell stage...Well, you could evolve into a fishy thing but after that you come up to the land to start creature stage. It's sad, the beta version looked so much bettter.

well that would take a good month or so. what would really be a good idea is host a sweepstakes. the first 1000 winners get a demo of the creature editor, and they make great great creatures, and then when they are done with makin them, instead of clicking bring them to life...they click send, which sends it to a data base and puts all the great content on the disk( with wills team going through it of course)
