I own a P2 but not the bluetooth speaker. The DNSe of Samsung is just impressive. This is a really good product compared to iPod touch. i mean come on, with this price, see what u can get. Samsung just never lets me down. I think P2 is around $200 and iPod touch is around $300.

I'm partial to the P2 too, but the extra hundred bucks for the touch is sensible considering how many more features it has (even though half of those features are completely useless) P2 FOREVER!~

Actually, you can buy them at dick smith electronics, you'll find lots of the stores in capital cities and usually one in regional cities. Prices:

4 gig - around $250

8 gig - $349

PLus if you buy one now you get a three 1 gig mp3 with it.

in a device u can buy soon (YS-MC1) the p2 will have wi-fi as well as blootooth, a biult in speader, FM transmitter,& SD card slot.

and a firmwear upgrade download will have games if heard form samsung.

the speaker he's using is the bluetooth enabled Samsung BS300

It owns! Ipod killer all the way!

Only problem is that it gets lots of fingerprints on the screen. But with a good enough cloth they all come off.

The ipod touch doesn't have enough external buttons like this. And the framerate on the video player is amazing. Not having to use itunes is also a major plus. True wifi would be sweet but I have a $500 ppc to do that. The tough screen is very nice and solid. It is amazing and great value too!

Wow for once Samsung has designed an awesome PMP! Seriously, I've been using Cowon players for years but this Samsung looks to be an excellent player. The BT functionality is a VERY cool feature as well as the virtual scroll. It's not a new feature (Cowon has it in their D2) but it's very useful none-the-less. BTW it does NOT need Wi-Fi since it already has BT. What it needs is a SD card expansion slot. Unfortunately the sound quality likely isn't as good as the Cowons.

im ganna get one of these theres alot to choose from but this one i think is best for me i was going to get the ipod touch but then there where complaints and it was too much so i decided to get this so hope fully it be cool, but the only thing im discourage about is it only plays 5 hours of video.

I swear, if my YP-Z5 died right now, I would go out and preorder this thing. At least I would if Amazon Canada had them. Instead I'll wait for my YP-Z5 to die (which won't happen for years to come even though I occasionally abuse it like no other) and then get this thing, in the 8 gig flavour.

Cool. Where is the WiFi and web browser? Can I listen to PodCast or view video PodCast? Lots of major news companies now have Video PodCast.  I can buy stuff over the air right? Seems like the screen doesn't have 163 dpi quality. hmmm why is the navigation so inconsistent? Kinda so so in design, doesn't look like something out of the 22nd century... kinda like 80's look.

that's actually a better interface than the new touch in my opinion. combines the best of both worlds - the ability to scroll with momentum and a virtual scrollwheel, which i would personally prefer. damn, good job samsung!

please do a good job marketing it and we'll have a real contender to the ipod with some substance behind it!
