when you mounted your red dot at 6:40 , was there a reason to add that? does it shoot that accurate? and also was the front sight post too high for the red dot so shine over it, or did u have to buy a risor?

@MrLousa123 You could probably put a LiPo in it, but the gears are going to wear and tear much faster. If you really want to use a LiPo go for it, but I suggest using a 9.6 if the RoF and quicker trigger response means that much to you.

Just got this gun in today. & So far I'm liking it, Though the only thing I hate about it. Is that the slip ring is a bitch to pull down,So that you can put the battery in. Wish they would've made it easier to access, So that you don't have trouble putting in & removing the battery
i have this gun and i loved it. but now when i pull the trigger it wont shoot. its not jammed. theres bb's in the mag. battery is charged. i dont know what to do. i contacted the website i got it from and they havent helped me yet. so bigboss, i was wondering if there was anything you could tell me that may help. thanks is advance.
@iNzMac its probably a gear jam. First take out the motor plug the black and red cable to it, pull the trigger to make sure the motor still works. If the motor works, the problem is in your gearbox. Could be different things. Sometimes the trigger's metal contacts inside the gearbox dont touch the electrical parts. First try the motor and see. If it works, its probably a gear jam.
@bigboss5251 or the wires could be diconnected. with guns like these the wires aren't attached steadily. With even minimal movement they become unplug and all you have to do is plug them back on then electrical tape it.
@iNzMac i had that, for ME it was a loose connection from the battery to the motor, i opened up the bit on the base of the pistol grip and the wires connected to the motor were loose just pushed them back on and works fine. had mine two years apart form that no problems love it
@iNzMac there might be a problem with some wires in the bottom of the handle, try open it op to se, there is 2 safety wires and i have had kind of the same problem and this fix'd it :) sry for my English...
@iNzMac i had this same exact problem. what i did is not recommended but i removed the anti-reversal latch and it worked fine. but that being said the gun no longer has a semi auto. :( other than that im not sure what else you could do other than take it to a shop.

They're ugly, they don't feel right, and they're overall just not my kind of firearm. Issuing something like the M4 is a lot more proper because anyone can use one. For your "Average Joe", they're very light, they're decently accurate, the feel a lot more comfortable, and overall they're just a better weapon than the pain of a SCAR(no pun intended).

I'm more of a Vietnam buff. But if I had to choose a modern weapon, I'd either use an M4A1 with the carrying handle removed, the front triangular iron sight left on, Trijicon 4x32 ACOG scope, Surefire Universal Weaponlight, Magpul Ranger Plate or a original Steyr Aug. I have the JG Military Aug.
@Transformers2themax I personally own a GG F2000. I have the Hunter kit and the integreted flashlight on it. I love the adjustable fps on it. Reccomend you check that if you're looking for a new bullpup in the high end division.
I like bulpups. I like the way they look, I like the way the feel, but the problem with my Aug is that it isn't very accurate. Or at least the scope isn't. I don't really care because it's such a high quality gun, but I prefer my JG M16A1 because it's A LOT more accurate. I was thinking about getting the blow-back version of this GR16(M4) for a modern day setup. But now, I think I'm gonna get the ACM M500 Gas shotgun. I love shotguns, especially vintage ones, so I think this'll be good.
@Transformers2themax You can buy the F2000 with a flat top rail instead of a front kit. I added the front kit on myself. It is very balanced in weight. It's $360 in black and tan

@Transformers2themax That shotgun won't have much range. It's out of stock+it's more expensive then some AEGs. I strongly reccomend you do not use this as a primary except in CQB. The iron sight looks fixed on the gun. The reviews don't look good either. Sorry to ruin your party, but this gun probaly isn't the best. I suggest the UTG shotgun lineup. It uses actual shells

So, basically, you quit whenever you felt like it whether it was from the stress of "battle" or pain from the BBS. For an entire match, I didn't get hit once. Goes to show that JG still are a respectable company. I love my M16A1 for a good reason. ;). But yeah, there was a lightning storm when we were out and it was as if artillery rounds were going off!

I was just wearing my jacket that was worn by an Engineer in the Philippines in the Pacific Theater of WWII over a brown hoodie with an ALICE backpack that was worn by a US soldier in the Vietnam War(given to me by a vet) to hold ammo, supplies, etc. It was a very fun game. Probably the only good one I ever had. It was the last one I had. Exactly a year ago. The first game I went to sucked. I was severely bullied and I was shot in my sleep.

The first copy was the Marushin version, built 1:1 scale with the real Mossberg 500. There's also one by Matrix and ACM. The Matrix model is available on Evike for $180. I recommend checking that out. Very, very cool gun. Especially if you like old fashioned pump-action shotguns. Haven't bought it yet. I might later. I'm getting the Well M4 Gas Blow-back. ;)

Eh, the gas makes it more powerful. For a five shot, metal and polymer bodied, 1960s-era shotgun, I think it's a good deal. Personally, I prefer shotguns to be pretty. That's why I absolutely despise modern shotguns. Tri-shot isn't realistic to me and I find it hard to like an airsoft shotgun with such capabilities. Sure, the 500 may not take shells; however, the BBs are housed in the tubular magazine underneath the barrel just like in real life. If you don't get it, that's fine.

good review for the gun, was having decisions on which gun to buy as ive seen many varients of the M4 but most of the recomended low cost rifles have many flaws, this ones seems to have lots of people saying good thigns about it.
o and a final note......what is with airsofters calling the rear sight apature a carry handle? simple rule if its fixed to the upper then yes it can be used, if its detachable you screw up the signs and will also lose your zero on the things
The realsteal M4 or the whole AR15 is a very bad weapon system. It is only popular because it is accurate, and compatible with thousands of parts. In Airsoft its the same...it is a mediocre weapon..the gearbox is shit compared to the other versions except for upgradeability, and the accuracy is worse than accuracy of other guns too...it is only picked because it is the most customizable
@SaitekFreak999 excuse me, but stop trying to show off your retarded COD knoledge. The AR line is the greatest line of firearms in existence. the M4 is more accurate than many bullpup firearms with 20 inch barrels. It can go longer than any weapon without lubing(yes, it beats out the AK47 too). it has the least recoil of any 5.56 weapon, and in full automatic fire it is the most accurate 5.56mm weapon. it is also LIGHT. it weighs less than 6.5 pounds.
@SaitekFreak999 it is also perfectly reliable, it may not be as reliable as some piston driven weapons, but as long as you keep it clean(as in clean it once a day) it will NEVER jam on you. it is only unreliable when compared to the AK47. its the most produced firearm fireing the 5.56 mm round in existence. something tells me its doing something right other than modularity.
@SaitekFreak999 and bythe way, its picked up because its COOL LOOKING. and the only advantage version 3 gearboxes have over version 2's is that they are harder to break and have a motor cage. there is no performance difference whatsoever. stop trying to show off, there are people that actually know something about firearms, both real and airsoft here.
@GITINMAHBELLAY Looks is no reason to choose a weapon....look at the german G11, it was ugly, and it was still built for the military...the V3 gearbox allows a better hopup too, easier shimming (if you use the best shimming technique), a better electrical system (both realiability and electrical resistance wise), the motor cage and better durability is a huge advantage :) Also, you can run the V3 without a selector plate (good for people in countrys with semi-auto laws for example)

@Seniorsoda Oh. Comment length? That's fine. I don't care. The shotgun? Yeah, it's the M500. There's a plethora of clones on the market. The first copy was the Marushin version, built 1:1 scale with the real Mossberg 500. There's also one by Matrix and ACM. The Matrix model is available on Evike for $180. I recommend checking that out. Very, very cool gun. Especially if you like old fashioned pump-action shotguns. Haven't bought it yet. I might later. I'm getting the Well M4 Gas Blow-back. ;)

@Transformers2themax thanks, but personally, i find that i bit pricey for a shotgun, and i dont mind pumping it back all the time, so the gas thing doesnt sell it for me. I also dont like the reload, it looks like it would take a long time on the battlefield, thats why i like the utg tri shots.

Eh, the gas makes it more powerful. For a five shot, metal and polymer bodied, 1960s-era shotgun, I think it's a good deal. Personally, I prefer shotguns to be pretty. That's why I absolutely despise modern shotguns. Tri-shot isn't realistic to me and I find it hard to like an airsoft shotgun with such capabilities. Sure, the 500 may not take shells; however, the BBs are housed in the tubular magazine underneath the barrel just like in real life. If you don't get it, that's fine.

good review for the gun, was having decisions on which gun to buy as ive seen many varients of the M4 but most of the recomended low cost rifles have many flaws, this ones seems to have lots of people saying good thigns about it.
o and a final note......what is with airsofters calling the rear sight apature a carry handle? simple rule if its fixed to the upper then yes it can be used, if its detachable you screw up the signs and will also lose your zero on the things

The realsteal M4 or the whole AR15 is a very bad weapon system. It is only popular because it is accurate, and compatible with thousands of parts. In Airsoft its the same...it is a mediocre weapon..the gearbox is shit compared to the other versions except for upgradeability, and the accuracy is worse than accuracy of other guns too...it is only picked because it is the most customizable

The AR line is the greatest line of firearms in existence. the M4 is more accurate than many bullpup firearms with 20 inch barrels. It can go longer than any weapon without lubing(yes, it beats out the AK47 too). it has the least recoil of any 5.56 weapon, and in full automatic fire it is the most accurate 5.56mm weapon. it is also LIGHT. it weighs less than 6.5 pounds.

@SaitekFreak999 it is also perfectly reliable, it may not be as reliable as some piston driven weapons, but as long as you keep it clean(as in clean it once a day) it will NEVER jam on you. it is only unreliable when compared to the AK47. its the most produced firearm fireing the 5.56 mm round in existence. something tells me its doing something right other than modularity.

@SaitekFreak999 and bythe way, its picked up because its COOL LOOKING. and the only advantage version 3 gearboxes have over version 2's is that they are harder to break and have a motor cage. there is no performance difference whatsoever. stop trying to show off, there are people that actually know something about firearms, both real and airsoft here.

@GITINMAHBELLAY Looks is no reason to choose a weapon....look at the german G11, it was ugly, and it was still built for the military...the V3 gearbox allows a better hopup too, easier shimming (if you use the best shimming technique), a better electrical system (both realiability and electrical resistance wise), the motor cage and better durability is a huge advantage :) Also, you can run the V3 without a selector plate (good for people in countrys with semi-auto laws for example)

@SaitekFreak999 the hop up is not better. i have never heard anything involving an advantage like that, and i would have by now. i actually do believe the version 3 to be the best version. but yeah, other than the hopup which i highly doubt, there are no actual performance advantages. how about we just stop arguing now. we wont get anywhere. i love ARs, you love pistons. The two sides have been arguing for years, and the only thing that will happen if we continue is we will get banned.

@dontwhine1 No it doesn't. Not all airsoft ones do. Such as the G&G R16. It's like the GR16 here but non-blowback. Pulling the charging handle does not open the dust cover. It is spring shut closed.
