sorry for not geting back to ya sooner.heads are J302 with porting mild hyd cam dont know the specs. the new motor (soon to be in the car) 590 lift 280dur.
can you please tell me what tire/wheel combo your running and the offset? i have a coupe and want the same stance your car has. any susp mods or info you can provide thanks
nice love how it blows fire out on take off lol my brothers f150 done that racing in town ... except he blew some valves well pieces of valves out the exhaust lol we got pics of it stuck in the road nice foxbody man
thats not fire its sparks from the clutch its a McLoad cinterd iron disc over 200 runs and no problems. new motor going on dyno in a week or so. should be back at track in a month.
your spinning to much. a full rotation is way to much and you got like three going on. you put that white strip on the tire for a reason right? other than watching it go roung-n-round? that car would see a 7 flat or high 6 if you take the r's down (4500 or so) off the line a bit or just slap an automatic in it, and get into the 6's period. sticks are fun, but at a point they can hurt your time, case in hand, and in the end isn't that what your trying to do is get to the end as quick as you can?
I think he's shifting quite fast, myself. So, with his fast shifting, the best times might be coming from his manual, not a heavier, power draining automatic. I do know auto's are better for 'consistent' times, but I don't know that they are faster.
shifting fast doesn't make the manual the better transfer to stay with. that comment in itself tells me a lot. the auto would be better for ' this' car, i guarantee
I don't even know what you are talking about. But if you put that car side by side, one with a 4 speed auto, and one with a C6, and race them to 60-160mph, the manual would be the faster car. Autos are consistent. Under equal conditions, manuals put more power to the wheels. Not important in bracket racing, though.
