  • que es esto?

  • This is sooooooooo stupid

  • bullshit

  • no son profesionales sino aficionados los profesionales y maestros estan en españa

  • For flamenco reading is not important but the compas is everything as well as emotion. most Professional flamencos don't read music, gypsies are more concerned with compas.

  • The master Paco de Lucia ,says that u don't have to read music either. It's about the ear and the passion. If a master like him says so than perhaps this guy is right.

  • There are some things that you can not write in music that is used in Flamenco such as the very complicated strums (Rasgueados. FLamenco is passion if played well. NOt too many outside of Spain play well although

  • i disagree, you can write any strum patterns down to music. Rhythm is direction too, if you understand that. If not, you need to learn music theory.

  • @407kronikels Music theory is really someones own Philosophy or theory, The theory they teach in school of how to write and understand computation has nothing to do with the actual creation of music. Its to comunicate, record and anylyze music. You dont need any theory other then your reasoning skills to play, especially if you play flamenco and jazz or any genre in which you "jam" or freestyle I rap and its the same way..

  • @ShelcoKillsVegas I fully disagree with you. Even though you don't think you are using music theory, you actually are. When you rap, you rap to the beat, on the beat, and your words ride the rhythm, right? Just you doing that, is very basic music theory. Music is a language. Music theory is like a grammar book...there's a proper way. I ask you, when you rap to a beat...why do you stay "in time" with the beat?

  • @ShelcoKillsVegas Alright, you're right about not having to know music theory to make music but for flamenco, music theory is vital. At least for modern flamenco. Paco de Lucia didn't know how to read music for a long time but when it came to him having to try to improvise, he asked "what's the structure of it?" and they laughed at him (of course they helped him out a bit later)

For you to learn Bulerias, you have to know how to make the rhythms. That does take theory.

    Fuckin noobs >.>

  • u say u dont need to read music what? thats well kinda true but profetional ive never met a true profetional that didnt read music!
