Well, he did borrow more money than all presidents before him, from George Washington to Jimmy Carter, combined. So yes, he was a fantastic leader when it came to leading our country into amazing levels of debt. We paid $1 billion in interest (that's your tax money) on Reagan's debt in 2005 and that number gets higher each year. Very fiscally responsible!
I'm voting for Edwards, because Obama showed just how disingenuous he is with his Reagan as "transformative leader" nonsense, then turning around and parsing whether or not he meant it in a good way screams phony to me. My guess is good and bad will depend on whether he campaigning in New York or California.
That sort of pandering should turn any progressive Dem's stomach IMO.
I'd very much like Obama to explain how union-busting and deficit spending constitute tranformative leadership?
edwards is a more electable version of kucinich. believe me, I would want to see kucinich president, but it wont happen thanks to our fucked up system.
Yeah, I was talking to Kucinich not too long ago about this.....(I live where his office is, Lakewood, Ohio) And I much see Kucinich in there. But of the legit leaders left, definitely edwards.

I dont like republicans but who cares about Wal-Mart. Lower prices with everything. I mean, helps my poor ass out. Ideally, the democratics/liberals should have thought of the idea of walmart...
I care... The prices are lower for a reason. Everthing you buy there has a Made In China tag or sticker on it. To be blunt this means that those products were produced thru slave labor. ALL companies seek out China for this reason and this reason alone. -maxwell
Wal-Mart undercuts local and small businesses and damages the U.S. economy. If you don't like being poor then you should ask why you are poor. Would you be poor if you had a better paying job at a local business? Every time someone buys a product from Wal-Mart the money goes to two places - firstly dividends to Wal-Mart shareholders and secondly foreign exchange U.S. dollars being held by central banks of nations like China.
Money spent in Wal-Mart basically leaves the community in which it was spent PERMANENTLY, so you and everyone around you are getting poorer by the day - Unless of course you and your neighbours are Wal-Mart shareholders! Wal-Mart helps you in the same way a drug dealer 'helps' an addict.
wal-mart doesnt deserve all the blame, and these days its pretty hard to find local markets and stores, and many people cant afford to shop at them. basically every big chain retailer, from walmart to costco to safeway to home depot takes from the community and offers little in return. its thanks to them that we have become a nation of strip malls.
Who cares about Wal-mart? So you WANT billions of US follars to fund communist China? And in return you get low quality junk you don't need anyway, or poison pet food and or led tainted toys for the kids?
I'm sick of these underhanded, Rove-like tactics by the Clintons. That's why I enjoyed this debate so much...just seeing the two candidates up their slugging it out
i find it disturbing that two candidates from the same party are attacking each other so viciously. and in the meantime, the republicans are sitting back watching and gathering dirt to use against who ever wins between them.
Cmon Cenk, You didnt know it? Thats because her campaign likes the take it off her Wikipedia page. But if you dig around you should be able to learn about her past.
I knew about Hillary and Walmart, and I am not even old enough to get with Jill Pike. Read up

Who? Pretty-boy "Don't Mess Up My Hair" Edwards? I'd rather vote a true Patriot like Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich.
