Just saying I not familiar with your enunciation that's all. Thank You and Good Job! A++ for your effort.

  • Hi,

I'm English and I need to give a short speech in Khmer (200 words). I'm getting the words translated but I need to hear a recording of someone speaking it so I can learn how to say the words. Is this something you might be able to do for me?

    Thanks Corrie

  • I've been watching your videos from the first lesson. I'm wondering if you do a lesson for "numbers." If not, can you please post a lesson on that? Thank you!

  • LOL the ending sleeping like that ahahaha... I can understand what people say in khmer but I cant answer it in khmer tho

  • Does your little brother know how to speak Khmer? If so let him speak Khmer, it's a way to teach your brother too.

  • my Khmer is pretty good..but there are sum words that idk like ur video about the khmer mths..i just learned that today..keep making more khmer videos!!

  • Spring semester just started, but I'll try to make at least 2 lessons per month =]

  • u do not look khmer at all..u must have sum chinese in u..anyway, i find ur videos very useful!

  • Yes, I do have some Chinese in me lol but only 25% i think 0.o but I don't speak it (well I can understand some easy words). I'm glad u find it useful. Practice it with what u already know n be a better Khmer speaker lol

  • the riddle at the end...wish i could read the other parts.. anyhow can you try and do the khmer-glish on it...for the non-khmer reading folks (me)?..if its not too much to ask for.

  • Oh I'll try to do it next time ^_^

  • thank you! :P

  • this is great, you even got the lil man to join in on the fun. so does he or can he read khmer too? if he does wtg. gosh if only i knew how to read khmer..i only remember the letters and recognizes it in titles, phrase etc. ..and if those ltrs are by themselves .. i wouldnt even know where to begin..lol

  • Lol u should practice reading more often.."khmerschool" has a lot of vid about how to read. You should check him out.

  • cool..thanks for the info.

i have khmer books..first it started out easy..and then in the middle of it..it seems like it was not even a beginners book anymore ..as if it was already intermediate or something. i will prolly have to reread that book again to see if was just trippin lol

  • I see. Well, maybe that book is for beginners in Cambodia(where they speak khmer fluently already). My suggestion is to get the book that is specially made for non-cambos? lol

  • non-cambos?...lol i was just trying to brush up on my reading skills.. that book was published in america btw..(from my city as a matter of fact :D)

  • i love this video.. so cute n funny.

  • n educational rite? lol

  • eww mur koot weaah

  • I swear your brother cracks me up every time yall mess with the weird face feature lol

  • really? even after like 3 videos? ahhaah i told him its gettin old but he still wanted to do it lol

  • You spell "Yub" wrong.

    Hahaha

  • "yub" is not correct neither (to me, "yub" sounds like "sub"). I chose "yob" because it's really close to the actual sound. ^_^

  • I meant you wrote in Khmer.

  • No, I spelled it correctly. Check on the dictionary. ;D

  • haha part 2 was weirder! :D

  • Ur weirder than the lesson 2 hahahaha smelly

  • oh thnx! :D

  • Which is the correct way to say "to come"?

is it "Mao" or "Moak" ? I realized in a lot of karaoke they say "Moak" but at home everyone says "mao" like "Mao Ni" "come here"

  • Maok is the correct of saying "to come" because it is spell ed មក (mo + kaw = moak)

  • @Kime0

i c. but then why do we say "mao"? where did that come from?

  • im not sure neither. i say moa sometimes too lol

  • One form is written (mok) and the other form is rapid speech/conversational (mao). In khmer words with a clustered r for example...the r is usually dropped in conversational speech...such as prahok to pahok.

  • haha got the best lesson with mr kimheang =D ur a good teacher man. haha nice

  • Thanks for helping with my khmer

  • Hes my little brother too! hahahaa

  • dude whats ur aim need to ask u a fav man.. hit me up buddhaon3lov3

  • kim80dian wassup? bruh lol

  • For the part where you said, "Don't forget to lock the doors and windows," you forgot to write the word, "and" in Khmer. It's "neung."

  • Nice catch. I was going to change it but "Thvea Bong Uoch" makes sense w/o "neung" in between. But technically you are right. Thanks for the feedback.
