  • how can those 8 people dislike this?

  • Stunning animals, for all info and beautiful pictures, google search: Scienceray Ocelot 2

  • Wild cats are more than capable of feeding themselves whenever they feel like it. They don't need humans to do it for them. They also don't need to be saved - there are reasons why animals die out and some prosper. It's life.

  • @meganclause *cough humans f*ck up nature and kill off entire species so some animals actually require rescue programs since they are on the verge of disappearing cough*

  • THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!!!!

  • Thumbs up!! I love the cute sweet kittens!!

  • D'AAAWWWWWW! If I had one I'd name him Revolver!

  • @Mekrokan I'd name one Shalasaska, and the other Adamska.

  • beautiful cats amazing thumbs up

  • An ocelot never lets his preys escape.

  • @tylerscallan: nice archer reference

  • They are so precious.

  • "This gun is the best gun ever."

  • I love how people are saying how horriable it is for these wild cats to be in a glass cage but in reality it's the safest place for them 1. there endangered so there being kept safe 2. They were lucky enough to be saved and 3. THEY ARE TREATED LIKE GODS!!!!!!! They have 3 meals a day, they dont have to worry about being eaten they get to play all day. If I was an wild cat I would rather be in a zoo then fending for my self in the wild.

  • @kittykittyboobooful Dude dont be such a retard, You must not know anything first of all they are not endangered at the moment they are in least concern which is the opposite of endangered, but you are right about the rest..

  • @kittykittyboobooful The way a lot of people think in today's world. Commodity, which is killing all the senses. Why don't you get locked in a box, get feed with the best and treated like a king. Maybe after a wile you will get a deeper understanding what a king is and prefer to live outside. Having them inside there is not fun for them. You got the wrong idea of what conservation is. Is protecting, but not by submerging their surrounding but by protecting them together with their environment.

  • A Spanish-language song was just the right background song for these ocelot kittens, since they're found in Latin and South Americas.

  • WTF?? i've seen tigers lions , and the fast sun of a bitch cat...(wich kinda looks like a tiger)

but this... i've never seen something like this :O it's like a "fast as hell cat" in the body but with a cat head :P

can't remember the name of that fast one ... CHEETAH or something like that :P

  • "i love to reload in the middle of a battle"

  • 0:14 She's thinking, "What are all those Two-Foots doing here? Well too bad, I'm staying up here!"

0:29 "Come on sis, get down here. Ignore them, lets go play!"

    0:48 "Fine. But I don't like it."

  • I hate seeing them in enclosures too but if their moma is gone, it is too dangerous for em to be in the wild. They'd die... They are endangered too... We need to do our part to repopulate them.

  • this is so sad to see. They are locked in that cage that is smaller than my bedroom. They really should give them a bigger space or release them where they belong :(

  • I agree with EmbraceMe, while being a beautiful glass cage, these cats need natural sunlight. This glass cage does not look that large either.

I have had the privilegde of working with Ocelots for close to 15 years and dislike seeing any wildcat in such an enclosure.

  • what a song man, if you imagine what means to all latin- american people, like me

  • trop mignon a en pleurer

  • they look jus like cats... with a branded fur coat!!!

  • where are there revolvers, how are they supposed to shoot bullets into snake?

  • They're behind glass?! Why do such a thing?:\ I mean can't you get a animal reserve with a wide open space in the outdoors...and I mean the real outdoors, where they can actually breathe.

  • great song! whats the name?

  • @Knewtz its name is "ojala" of the big cuban composer Silvio Rodriguez, the genere its called "protest music" (musica protesta) in latinamerica, and he is one of the greatest composer

    sorry about the english

  • poor cats, to be forever locked up until dead. way to break animal spirits

  • @PattyOgamer

yes, it's so much worse than being skinned alive by some hunter, or ripped to pieces by some larger predator, or dying of an easily preventable disease years before their normal life span. WHAT A HORRIBLE FATE BESTOWED UPON THEM.

  • @derpguyjohn Nature takes its path. lets lock you up your whole life and feed you when you need to and never find out what any thing you do to do day exsist out side your walls. id rather be skinned alive some day then to shit in my corner once a day then look at the ground for the rest of it..

  • Imagine an ocelot with a revolver fighting a super sneaky snake. Reference much? :D

  • @YourProblem1 You're real subtle about it ;)

  • @iamVERYrandom What can I say? It comes natural hombre ^_^

  • Are these just house cats? can you buy them? They are awesome

  • goodsong but thumds up if u muted the song so u can enjoy bettter?!?!?!

  • Song please? Oh yeah and btw the cats are so FRIGGIN' CUTE

  • It's like Meowschwitz in there.

  • @tylerscallan Lol, archer reference! love it.

  • I'VE NEVER SEEN AN OCELOT! HOLY SHIT, YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS--- LOOK AT HIS LITTLE SPOTS! LOOK AT HIS TUFTED EARS!

  • @CarolusMagnus2501 Archer Reference!!!!

  • @CarolusMagnus2501

hahah archer win. looks like she ended up getting logs for him after all!

  • BAD zoos are bad. Zoos in general are not bad. So stop being ignorant.

  • The name of the song is Ojala, that means hopefully.

  • they look like snakes :)

  • get a maine coon, don't f--- with these species, i love mountain lions, lynx, cougoars, i don't wan't them in my house. they are very powerfull type "A" cats.

  • Zoos are cruel!

  • Hm... I know these are legal in Canada, but can you have one in the US ? My house is fairly large and I think I have enough backyard room for one of these beauties <3 .

  • @LemmeButterYourToast

Non domesticated cats make really bad pets for many reasons.

Ocelots especially since they spray everything with really pungent stuff to mark their territory.

  • Zoo's are great for endangered species and for repopulation a species for reintroduction

but in this case the ocelot is definately not endangered

    athough it is awesome :P

  • It depends on the zoo and if it is run for profit. Not all zoos are non-profit.

  • Ocelots for sale. Tenner a pop. Holla atcha bwoi.

  • These guys are the smallest of the Big Cats. They are beautiful. Never stand under a tree with an Ocelot though as they will likely pee on you. haha

  • @tatunkha LOL..speaking from experience?

  • are there any wild cats wich dont kill ppl no any time in they're life?

  • @imaluigi89 i don't quite understand your comment, but if you're asking what i think you are - ocelots are obviously too small to kill people, and it is very rare that larger wild cats do. humans kill more of them than they kill of us.

  • @msgreengenes you dont understand what i asked was , oh , it was : what cats dont kill humans at any point in they're life unless the human is attacking it

  • @imaluigi89 aha. in that case you are completely right :) and yes, I agree about tigers. I get quite annoyed when humans kill a bunch of tigers in retaliation for the death of one human. there are six billion of us while they are on the brink of extinction - and we're responsible for that.

  • @imaluigi89 Tiger's don't, unless humans attack them first. Tigers are more likely to lead you out of their territory than to kill you.

  • they're so cute! im gonna die!!! xD

  • you people that say the zoo animals is cruelty are sooo dumb :P

  • @MaxBearguy1 you're allowed your opinion of course, but there are arguments for and against zoos. zoos that breed for conservation are fine, but any zoo which claims to be breeding the 'white tiger' or 'white lion' species for conservation is lying. these animals are not a species, they're a recessive gene which is not meant to be perpetuated. why would white fur benefit a tiger, evolutionarily? it wouldn't. they inbreed to get the results they want and kill cubs born orange or with deformities.

  • is it a boy and girl? plz respond

  • Zoo is for poeple that well make big money

  • Define cat and dog

  • @MichaelPrikakis define birth and death

  • SUPER:)

  • are you the zoo with the panda

  • in the long run, none of this matters. everything on earth will die no matter what we do

  • Who sings this song?

    (btw, beautiful ocelot kittens)

  • @yesthatgirl0 Silvio Rodríguez, cuban, the song is "Ojalá"

  • Beautiful kittens! I love cats, especially female tabbies.

  • Zoos are about conservation, not for the money. Zoos in my local area breed the animals (As naturally as possible) let them grow for a bit, then take them to reserves and whatnot. If zoos were 'cruel' wouldn't the RSPCA (Or maybe something else, I am from UK, so that's what I know :P) have something to say? No, because they know zoos are for conservation, they don't need to bother with zoos, because zoos aren't cruel. AT ALL. This seems like quite a good zoo really, so stop saying they're cruel.

  • @hornetpalooza ojala-Silvio Rodriguez ;)

  • so cute

  • lol people pay to watch small size cats climb trees, just watch your own cat you jerks :P

  • Beautiful kittens. Thanks for sharing this video. And that's a nice song by the cuban singer Silvio Rodriguez.

  • @irisstuart I think a Spanish-language song was just the right kind of song for this video, considering that ocelots are found in Central and South America, mostly.

  • @irisstuart whats the song called?

  • Comment removed

  • they should stay in a bigger space not in a window...

  • lovelly animals

  • Keeteh FTW!

  • nice song by Silvio Rodriguez

  • Depends on the zoo. Miami Metrozoo actually has huge enclosures for most exhibits that try to mimic the animal's natural habitat as much as possible.

  • Why everyone feels the need to put fucken music into these?

  • Ocelots are so adorable!

  • Hey i know this song! I actually have a cd of this song with along with a few other songs by the same artist. I like it, very refresheing to hear.

  • ...the zoo is not being cruel ...this is actually one of the best ocelot exibits I have seen in a long time...they need more climbing space than anything ...which is provided btw... also people that comment every single animal video as cruel...ur annoying...learn about what you are ranting about and shut up ...oh and to the zoo those babies are beautiful awesome job on helping my favorite species!!! you rock

  • that cage is too small, i hope the zoo keeper goes to prison to experience the same torture

  • @MarilulaneMusic That's acutally just a display area with things for them to play with so people can see them, there's an extension behind it to give them LOTS more room to live in. They don't LIVE in those enclosures, that is for the people and for cats that small, that place is big enough for them, not to live in but to play in. and believe it or not, those are some of the happiest animals, they get food, water, shelter and protection handed to them instead of fighting for it in the wild.

  • @popcorn200213 Don't confuse human thinking with animal thinking: "free food, water, shelter and protection handed to them" may sound cool for some, but when talking about animals it means nothing if they can not fully realize their instinctive nature and from that side their existence in Zoo is useless! You can not describe their happiness from human perspective, because it doesn't work that way.

While that's being said I am NOT against the zoos. I just want people to think realistic...

  • @popcorn200213 ok.. do you know that for sure? lots of zoos just have those small places..

  • I agree that zoo's are needed, regretably, but no matter how much greenery they put in them - they're still cages, and the animals feel it.

Not to mention how zoo's breed cute little babies despite not having room for them, simply because they generate more money. And since the other zoo's, most often, don't have the space for them either; they're 'put down'.

  • @Emeloo2

Well.... ACTUALLY, Zoo's breed animals, not for money, TRUST ME NOT FOR MONEY, they do it to help boost the numbers and the gene pool so healthy animals can be released into the wild or used as ambassadors to show people that don't understand them that they're really amazing creatures and that they should be mindful of nature and not destroy it and I'm sorry but I've NEVER heard of ZOO's putting animals down unless they were sick. They send them to reserves or rescues.

  • @popcorn200213 Well you obviously haven't seen the Zoos in poorer countries... Not what I like to brag about it, but here in Lithuania we have like 10 camels living in 20x20 pound. They don't look happy there to say the least, lol, nor do they look healthy either. It's all about the money here.

  • Cute little kitty cat. Very athletic, too.

  • yeah I love how great cat cubs are 5 times the size of my full grown manx cat

  • music please?

  • REVOLER

  • answering kara 315: i think you misinterpreted my comment.i wouldn't want ever these cats extinct.if they weren't in zoos they would be happier.and would have a better chance for survival,as long as they stay as far from man as possible.

maybe you thought they(ocelots)if they were in zoos they would be protected better?if you asked an ocelot.i'm sure they'd disagree also.

  • @CinematicComics

they wouldn't disagree... they aren't too bright, and "as far from man as possible" doesn't really register to animals, particularly territorial predators. Nice sentiment, but ultimately man's efficiency at destroying animals makes man the only entity able to prevent such death.

  • i wish zoo's could look after dolphins and whales too, to stop them from being hunted :( but thats asking for too much huh. Oh wait i think some do

  • thats what places like seaworld do, they often save the dolphins they have. sadly there are only 3 in america so not as many as zoos.

  • would you rather these rare cats go extinct?

  • what song is this? i LOVE it

  • @Melina11

    "ojala" by Silvio Rogriguez

  • oh thank you thank you!

    :)

  • @Melina11 if you know the words, its actually the most dipressing song ever. but it still sounds great. he is basically saying he never wants this girl to do anything again or be near him again. she'll turn falling leaves to ice and stuff like that

  • oh yes i know! i LOVE sad songs... sooo beautiful...

    :)

  • I WANT.

  • Comment removed

  • @Birgos56 go fall down a staircase you retard

  • They are preserving them so they will not go extinct are you like 6?

  • @Birgos56 most zoo's are not cruel

its very rare tha u have a case where a zoo is cruel buh otherwise most look after the animals really well and some zoo's even breed indangerd animals such as bengal tiger african elephants ect to set them free in the wild the ones that are in the zoo are thes that wont survive in the wild besides bein in a zoo is safer then beihot dead by some idiot trying to beat a record or make money !!

  • zoos aren't cruel, they breed endangered animals to boost their population, while allowing guests to see the great animals up close and personal. some big zoos give their animals a lot of exhibit room, and animals in captivity by fact live longer because of no pretadors and easy food to find. they can also get medicine for diseases.

  • @frovvn once again, man plays god......

  • @Fomze most animals are endangered because of us though...

  • @frovvn oh...thats touching!

  • @frovvn You are right about what most zoos do but Zauzuthehornbill is also right about how some people have no respect for animals and give wild creatures concrete to sleep on instead of forest ground, desert sand, clean pools, or watever the habitat that the organism lives in

  • @frovvn Then go live in one if it's that good !

  • @frovvn i know the one in baltimore has like a giant field for the giraffes or thats what i remember from when i was 6

  • @frovvn poachers aswell

  • @frovvn I'm not fighting your point, really. I just want to add SOME zoo's are cruel. Preserves tend to be better for the endangered species, but I went to a free walk in Zoo in DC when they had panda bears and it almost made me cry. They were fully grown in tiny indoor cement rooms with like a tiny pile of leaves in the corner, they looked miserable and one of the workers said they were having problems because one of them wasn't eating like she should but wasn't showing any signs of sickness

  • @frovvn i agree zoos are better for animals than the wild in a sense

  • @frovvn : And it is much safer in zoos for animals than it is in the wild, they often live much longer, are in no danger from predators or poachers, and don't have to worry about their habitat being chopped down to build a factory. :)

  • @frovvn They also at times when practical, release populations into the wild to boost numbers.

Most modern zoos the world over are probably the main source of practical effort to protect species.

What is cruel though is humans encroachment & destruction of our fellow creatures environments.

  • @frovvn Zoo's aren't the best places in the world, but your right, they populate endangered species, and i bet a lot of the animals at zoos enjoy they're life, but not all Zoos are perfect.

  • @blasteryui True, but that tends to be in more poor areas

  • @frovvn Thank You For Telling Everyone In Hawai'i WHere I Live They Have a Huge Zoo and 5-6Acres for Elephents

  • @frovvn true, but there will always be the mass of idiots who dont understand it. If anyone wants to complain about Zoo's, i recommend that they read about how Zoo's were during the late 1800's when the entire concept started to be introduced to the public, that is allot more cruelty.

  • I saw the mother at the zoo once. Woodland Park Zoo is a really great one! I've never been to a better zoo.

And they certainly have very long necks. Longer than the average cat. And the eyes are more forward.

  • There so cool.

  • I want one.

  • I have always loved their female ocelot, I wasn't aware she had kittens! How cute!

  • I know zoos are for protecting animals and such,but...it's cruel how people are stupid to the animals.Once in TV,a woman said:

"I don't like to see crocodiles near me,i like to see them in a cage, locked." Notice she didn't even said EXHIBIT,she said CAGE.Like those cages where theres just the innocent crature,no food,no water, like a prison. People need to worry about the animals, otherwise, the animals may revege...

  • STFU and look at the damn kittens

  • @Zazuthehornbill It's sad but true that the only 'safe' place for animals is the zoo. People are the most successful animals and we've destroyed a lot of creatures but at least there are enough of us good caring people to try to protect them.

  • @Zazuthehornbill ...

Somebody tell me how this comment has the second most thumbs up... please?

  • @Zazuthehornbill I don't know about you, but I'd rather have a cage between me and fucking crocodile.

  • @Zazuthehornbill We will revenge for them..

  • @Zazuthehornbill i agree its truely disturbing how some people treat animals. some scientist realized a couple years back that some animals in exhibits go crazy and start doing unusual things! it was terrible. and at dolphin shows in order for the people to train dolphins they shock the dolphins when they get the tricks wrong !

  • @Zazuthehornbill Youre misintepreting her, she didnt mean in a jail cell, she meant in a place where it couldnt eat her. And frankly, I agree with her, I like crocodiles, but only when theyre behind a screen and cant chew on me. And the animals arent going to turn against us and take revenge, thats silly lol

  • @Zazuthehornbill lol just got epic mental image of a full grown croc locking some stuck up bint in a tiny cage saying i dont like them reporters near me... i like them locked in cages ROFL

  • Silvio Rodriguez, el mas grande

  • Youngsters from a glorious alien nation which graces planet Earth with their presence.

  • oh and the puddy tats are beyond awesome. I wish they were undisturbed in the wild.

  • oh wow, at first I thought this was Salif Keita before I realized it was in spanish.

  • my cat Booky is just a midget black panther LOL

  • @tippitytop1 wt do u mean a real black panther?

  • @kapokii

I have a black cat- he looks like a miniature black panther

  • i have pure black cat to and allways thought she looked like a panther to its when you wake up in the middle of the night and finding her stareing at you and all can do is she these eyes some times its freekey

  • o my gosh they are so adorable

  • How cute!!! XD

  • whats up with the Silvio Rodriguez playing on this video

  • why r they so cute

  • If you really want one of those get ann ocicat. One problem, they cost around $20,000. So cute though!

  • @Violetmaykittycat Ocicat's do not cost anywhere near $20k. An Ocicat, is a domestic spotted tabby that has no wild blood at all. A good quality Ocicat can be had from a breeder for around $700.

  • they're soooooo cute!

  • So cute!!!!

  • TTwTT they're so cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute

  • They're not quite ocelots yet- they're just ocelittles. :)

  • @Crazyivan777 oh and that is the most adorable thing I have ever heard lolz

  • @Crazyivan777 Guy you're so cute :o)

  • critically endangered because of fur coat caused by human beast. we also have wonderful ocelot kitten here in our zoo.

  • What are ocelots, exactly?

A breed of cats or small jaguars, or both? Or neither?

  • They're a mainly nocturnal big cat - about twice the size of an average housecat - and they live mainly in South America and Central America.

Their genus is "leopardus" (which also includes the Margay, another small "big" cat with a leopard-like appearance).

If you search Ocelots on Google, National Geographic has an excellent and informative page about them.

  • u can also keep tem as pets

  • no you cannot. look it up.

  • yes, but you have to go through all sorts of crap to get permits for them, my uncle and aunt own an ocelot
