  • its gonna take so long for that radiation to go away

  • @cowsownvideos yeah, im not 100% but i think its thousands of years before its completely gone.

  • @cowsownvideos about 450,000 years and then you can go live thr

  • i could imagine a fuck of big catfish in that river cause of the radiation lol

  • @iFiiZZLE

And sadly not safe to eat..

  • You could compare those warning plates to the Berlin sign "You are leaving the American Sector", in the way they sort of warn you that you're entering in a zone of danger, previous of the safe zone you were. About the Sarcophagus, its iron/concrete look is so sinister and it contains something so terrible you could even say its like the Devil's Graveyard.

Magic meanings. Really nice video. Thanks for sharing!

  • @DerAdventurer Well put. It's scary to think of how dangerous that reactor is, even today. One step inside the room it's buried in would be a death sentence.

  • Dobra robota! Pozdrowienia z LJA

  • One more thing,For me It bould be Awsome seeing Pryat Better days.

  • ''50.000 Poeple used to live here, now it's a ghost town,I never seen something like thad''- Cpt.McMillan,Call of duty 4 ''Modern warfare''

  • Amazing job, that was just an awesome video, i can tell you worked hard on it.

  • Damn your videos are fantastic ! You've got my resprect to go inside this zone alone and go so close to the reactor ! Lets hope, the new sarkophagus will build up quickly. Salut from France

  • I love Ukraine. Its such a nice country. I was only 6 hours away from Chernobyl. In Odessa.

I would have loved to gone there.

But i would need Gordan Freeman's Suit lol.

  • What was it like being there,i would love 2 go to it,heard about it from cod4 lol then school.

  • cant believe they let you get soo close to the reactor!

  • Idiot below me

You can stay for 20 hours in five week shifts

And I've seen from your wall that you played cod4

  • i wander why no ones set a movie inside chernobyl.

  • your not allowed there, the radiation is still to this day, sky high

  • @Deadvision666 Wrong, the most deadly isotopes have already gone, they have very short half lives, the only isotopes that remain are the less deadly ones. They take longer to harm the human body, the area is really safe, as long as you don't touch the water or plants as they have taken in a lot of radioactive material.

  • @thomasmc14 Ahh, did not know that :)

  • @Deadvision666 No worries, people make mistakes. It's still a spooky place to see though, the animals have reclaimed the land and there are wild packs of wolves, they don't attack people though as they get spooked by humans. CoD 4 made me interested in this place, the map Bloc was intense.

  • @thomasmc14 yeah same, i first heard of chrenobyl through COD4, whic is probably how most people found out about it, but thats pretty interesting how the animals and wildlife have overtaken the land, there is still radiation there isnt there?

  • @Deadvision666 Yeah, there is still quite a lot of radiation, but it's low level radiation that takes a while to have any effect. People have started moving back and workers can work 20 hour shifts each week, obviously at a much higher pay. The main thing though is they have to import all their water and food because of the soil radiation.

  • @thomasmc14 aaahhh, thanks for the info man :)

  • @Deadvision666 What a shame you didn't hear about Chernobyl disaster before. As far as I remember, I know about it since I was a child. It's well known incident in the history and it's a bit disappionting that people get to know about it from a pc game. And how most of a common people find out about it is history lessons.

Anyway, as thomasmc14 said the radiation is still there, mostly in the plants and metal objects. Wildlife is unlimited. People don't interfere.

  • @Czarny89LBN I heard theres some people living near Pripyat, is that true ? Do u know where to get information about Pripyat?

  • @2976847 Yes, people are still living there. Most of them are other reactor blocks workers, also about 40 people working in Chernobyl post office, store and canteen, people who didn't want to leave their homes during the evac. There are also MP members guarding The Exclusion Zone (things could change since 2008). If you're looking for more info about The Moscow Eye search for DUGA radar stations. You can find any info. about Prypiat in the internet, try looking into urban exploration forums.

  • @Deadvision666 i dont think most ppl heard of it that way xp....most ppl heard of it when it accualy happend lol xp ( forgive me for my poor english )

  • thats one big ass catfish in the water

    4:47

  • good choice with the 28 Days Later music, but try to get ur english spelling a bit better "exploaded" should be "exploded" would help with the generally very professional experiencew of this video!

  • @BlackValkyire Oh the irony, try spelling 'experience' correctly before having a go at someone else for their spelling.

  • I think a lot of people here, know the chernobyl just becouse they played that stupid cod

  • I studied it at the age of 11, and i did it myself...

  • i had this as school project.

  • how long can you stay there before the radiation becomes dangerous

  • long...because this was not an atomic explosion! Its 'just the Uran' from the powerplant that is blown out in the nature!

  • It depends on where you stay.

  • great video! ..Whats the ending song/music?

  • mutant catfish

  • 5:35 (COD4 SPOILER) That building was where in Call of Duty 4 Cpt. MacMillan and Lt. Price walked across and a Hind flew right past them! The producers did a nice job recreating Chernobyl in COD4.

  • Yeah they did, its all very deatilled! I love the game, because of the history where its played

  • i just realized it was from the game..the faris wheel gave it away. then i noticed the other buildings! they did do a great job

  • Why create to destroy? it doesn't make sense, and people just seem to walk passed the question. We are here to create and and let life live. But all i have been seeing my whole life is creations for destruction and death.

    Lets change that ...soon

    Namaste

  • leasson learned here...Dont play with nuke.

  • ah yes it did the ppl there believed so much in their govt ...they tested the limits of the reactor and they melted dwn. because of its design.

our reactors if u did the same test wouldnt have melted dwn because of diff technology than they had.

  • @markjv made me laugh lol

  • @sharplayer why so?

I wasnt making it up for some conspirously theory, i learned this in HS, the design was different from our reactors, they trusted the design and tested it, only doing such a test there is no safety net to stop a melt dwn, it caused it... and it melt.

  • This is actually one of the better Chernobyl-Prypiat videos on youtube, congrats and good job :D

  • its like a movie trailer telling you what an awful tragedy it was

  • Reminds me of I am Legend in a way

  • well if not tell me during what it did then? what lies do you listen? ofcourse it did explode during a test

  • Yeah, actually it did.

  • This video was really well done. I'd love the experience of being in Chernobyl and Prypriat. Kudos to you, great job.

  • Thanks a lot. :]

  • im kinda thinking of visiting prypiatis it scary?

im kinda thinking of visiting there

i think id wanna have lots of friends

dont want silent hill shit goin down

    jk

  • @standXbyXme.... Piss poor video and crapy music do NOT make a good movie. Thumbs down on this one. Very Amateurish.

  • Great video, specially for the old and then new footage... you can recognize the same places before and after!

  • Congratulations for the video!

  • the second song??

  • You can be there certain amount of time, don't stand near the moss, because it absorbs radiation and spreads it. The radiation level in the main streets of pripyat is OK to be there without getting cancer, but always measure the level of radiation, it can change and you will breathe the air with radioactive dust.

  • Świetny filmik! Jakiego programu używasz do obróbki?

  • Terrible. 6.27 was creepy. But anyway... is it very dangerous to be there? How long will it take before everything is ok there?

  • jak wyżej ;) a tak poważnie, jak mi o tym gadałeś to mnie tak nakręciłeś, że też chyba się wybiorę na taką wycieczke :)

  • Watch this, all you nuclear-lobbies and atomic-mafia! Stop nuclear energy - everywhere!

  • very well done, sir...i really must get there someday, it is a dream of mine to stand there where so much life and culture was destroyed, just to be there and know this would be very moving.

  • I'm glad that you enjoyed my movie. Undoubtedly it was unussual experiance to visit Chernobyl and Prypiat.

  • Dobrze to wszystko Krzysiu zmontowałeś,profesjonalna robota.Muzyka, klimacik i ujęcia 100%!Szacun za odwagę że tam pojechałeś!pozdro
