@Nostalgicvideos Actually he's partially right. The song is heavily influenced by Daft Punk's "Da Funk." That's why it's called Da Hype. I'm So Hot For You is in the same key as Da Funk and he used samples from both songs. The beginning car/city sounds are sampled from the beginning of Da Funk; the lead synth line and drums are sampled from Bobby O and the song overall follows the structure of Da Funk. I actually learned to play the lead line on my bass by adjusting the bass line to Da Funk.
