According to my Auntie, Jonathan played at the club at the top of my street in the early 70's so I got into his music because of her LP's. For years and years I only had a ropey cassette of Twice Around The Houses & Wait Till They Change The Backdrop but a few years ago I managed to find them on a double CD. (Beat Goes On Records if anyones interested in buying it) The video clip doesnt do Jonathans music justice... Hes fantastic! Thanks so much to kellyfan222 for putting this on

My Father went up on stage and sung Rock you to sleep with Jonathan,I never thought I'd get into that kind of music but after hearing some more of his songs,I think the lyrics are beautiful.

my dad whiped out the record 'twice arround the houses' and let me listen to this song. it was just after i broke up with the love of my life Anna (i have her name tattooed on my arm :( ) the lyrics explain my relatonship with me...
